Break Ups

Daniel.

Ever since Dustin came back and is now living at my house things have been... tense. Yeah, tense is the word. Every time Daniel came to see me Dustin watched him like a hawk.

"Why can't you two just stay in tonight?" Dustin asked as I got ready for my date with Daniel.

"Because every time we do you won't leave us alone." I said.

"So you're blaming me?" Dustin asked. I rolled my eyes.

"That's exactly what I'm doing." I said.

"He shouldn't even be here. I'm back now." Dustin said.

"What does you being back have to do with anything?" I asked. "YOU left. I moved on."

The doorbell rang. Thank god he was here. I left Dustin in the doorway of my bedroom and went to get the door. I opened the door to Daniel being there.

"Don't you look hansom." I said. He smiled at me.

"You look beautiful." he said. "Ready to go?"

"Yes." I said. He smiled again and we left.

He opened the car door for me. I thanked him and got in. He came to the other side and got in. He started the car and we were off. I don't know where we are going. He just said to dress nice. The car ride was silent as he drove. To be honest he was making me nervous. I noticed we were driving towards my favorite restaurant. I smiled at the gesture. We got to the restaurant. Still not saying anything Daniel got out of the car and walked to my side, opening the door for me once again. We walked in and got seated.

"Can I get you something to drink?"  the waitress came over and asked.

"Just a water for me please." I said.

"Same here. Thank you." Daniel said. He looked nervous.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Um... there is something we need to talk about." Daniel said.

"Okay... let's talk." I said.

"Um... there is no easy way to say this..." Daniel began. "I'm just gonna come right out and say it."

"Say what?" I asked.

"We need to see other people."
