Chapter Ten
I had told Derek after the commotion of the last two days that I had had enough, I wanted a day where I could be a normal teenager. to my surprise Derek had shown up out of the blue today and had snacks and movies, I laughed at him, he was genuinely acting like a normal boyfriend. I dragged him upstairs where I popped the DVD into the player and jumped on the bed where he was sitting. We cuddled up and I started to run my hands up and down his chest when Scott suddenly came running and froze seeing me in Derek's arms. "Wow, Scott, I didn't know you forgot how to knock."
"I um... Why is he here?" He asked annoyed and I rolled my eyes.
"Because I have my boyfriend over," I said rolling my eyes. "Good observation skills. Also yes, i asked Mom." I sighed.
"Mom knows?! and is okay with it?!" He asked frantically.
"Mom has met Seth here." I chuckled patting Derek's chest, which looked very intimidating and gloomy almost, made me chuckle, he had to be all mysterious even with me in his arms.
"Seth?"
"Derek's middle name." I shrugged.
"I'm gonna go to my room." He sighed and turned storming out, I sighed and felt my stomach rumble.
"You hungry?" I asked Derek and he shrugged at me.
"Yeah, I guess I am." I rolled onto him and looked down at him smiling.
"I'll order pizza?" I smiled and he nodded. I rolled off him and got up, he moved to follow me as I walked out and down the stairs. I walked into the kitchen I grabbed the phone and I glanced at him, he watched me with his pretty green eyes, and it made me nervous, the way he stood against the doorframe looking at me, I gulped. "You're distracting me, Derek," I muttered looking at him, not dialling yet.
"I am?" He asked smirking at me and I nodded slowly.
"Yeah," I mumbled dialing the number.
"Yeah?" He walked over and wrapped his arms around my waist as I held the phone to my ear. He rubbed my sides as I spoke on the phone for less than 2 minutes and hung up.
"It's the way you look at me like i'm worth everything... it's distracting." I looked at him seeing his face.
"You are worth everything to me." He pulled me to the living room and pulled me into his lap, and I leaned against him. I sighed and scratched his stubble.
"I'm happy I am. At least to someone."
"Y/N." He said surprised and I looked at him confused.
"What?" I asked and he sighed.
"You mean everything to a lot of people. I am sure Melissa, Scott even. Stiles Probably." He said and I leaned down on him and sighed.
"I know. I know... It just seems hard sometimes. Scott treats me like I'm a monster sometimes and Mom... She shows me love but because I'm adopted I don't think I'll ever be loved like Scott is. I just miss my mom. Claude." I mumbled and He held me in a hug and I held onto him. "It's rare I get like this... But with everything happening with the Fire I can't help but think about it." I said and he nodded rubbing my back.
"I know. I think about them all too. Cora, Laura, Mom. Peter." I played with his hair and tried to comfort him like he was me.
"I know, they're always gonna be a part of us." I smiled. "Plus if they new about us, imagine how excited they'd be that the family was coming together finally," I said and he smiled at me. "There will be more Hales and Havens someday," I explained and he smiled wickedly.
"Oh definitely."
"You guys were being so wholesome! Don't start talking about sex!" Scott yelled from upstairs and I laughed out loud. "Also! Love you, sis!"
"Love you, Bro!" I yelled back smiling, the doorbell went off, and I saw it was getting Dark. I got up and opened the door, paid the guy and took the pizza, I froze seeing Scott at the top of the stairs. "You want some?" He nodded. "Come down then, Derek doesn't bite. I do. But he doesn't." I smiled and he chuckled nodding and coming down and we all sat on the couch. And ate, even pit on a movie, it was Scott, me and Derek in that order. Suddenly the door opened and there was Stiles.
"Hey, stiles!" Scott yelled and he froze looking at us three.
"Join the pile bud. We ain't biting tonight!" I laughed and he slowly walked to Scott's side and Sat down.
"I guess we are pack Y/N not pack Alpha huh?" He asked and I froze.
"Hey yeah! You guys are my little pack!" I laughed and then the door opened again. Mom walked in and froze.
"Well look at this?" She hummed looking at us. "Stiles, Scott, Y/N and Seth. How are you guys?"
"Seth?" Stiles mumbled and Scott slapped his thigh.
"We're great Mom. Pizza?" I asked and she sighed and nodded.
"Yes please." She took a slice and sat on the chair. She looked tired. But I liked that we all could just sit here and be happy for a night.
We watched the movie and then Scott ans Stiles scurried to Scott's room and Derek pretended to leave in front of Mom. Kissing me goodbye and leaving, I kissed Mom goodnight and went to my room. I saw him on my bed and I walked over rolling into it onto him. He held me to him and I sighed.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
