How would you describe the world ending? A little tap on the door or a sudden explosion of noise, destruction, then nothingness. Maybe the sun would engulf the earth in its fiery tempest. or our moon could fall into us creating an impact so great it would rip us to shreds. The thing about the world ending is that you never know when it's going to come. A few asteroids have passed us by that almost could have destroyed us all. Scientists only theorise the end of the planet but theories are only theories after all. The scary part of the world ending is that humans could be causing it. To think that my own country or my fellow nations citizens are causing the end of the world is disturbing. sad. unthinkable. You don't want to be held responsible for the destruction of something. To break something with your owns hands holds tremendous amounts of guilt.

Now how would you describe your world ending? Maybe a death of a loved one? that dreaded phone call? The endless whispering inside your head? I'll tell you how my world nearly self-destructed. It was when my brother Iceland, my sweet little brother who had done no harm to the world, came inside looking like he had been rolled down by a truck. His face was badly bruised, his hair was ruffled and his clothes looked crumpled and torn. A bruise had already started developing on his right eye. I couldn't do anything but stare at him for the first 30 seconds. my mouth probably opened and closed like a goldfish struggling for something to say. Anything to say. Denmark, who was next to me at the time, was the one to act first. Pulling Iceland down towards a nearby rocking chair he asked me to get the first aid kit, which I did.

The frustrating part about this situation was that Iceland wouldn't speak to any of us about what had happened. How can I comfort that only form of family I have if he doesn't share the pain he's going through. I don't know what to do.

Yes this was a shitty chapter

the sad thing is you guys know its not going to get any better
