hoseok whistled a tune as he walked towards the door of the smoothie shop, swinging the keys around on his index finger, getting ready to close up for the night.

he flipped off the light and went to find the right key for the door.

right before he locked it, he heard loud and quick footsteps that were coming down the hall. he looked to his right, and instantly got a smile.

"sorry sir, we're closed," he teased.

"i think the fuck not you trick ass bitch," yoongi panted, holding up his phone. "it's five twenty-nine which means you still have a minute to make me a smoothie."

yoongi grabbed hoseok's wrist and dragged him into the store, muttering incoherent curses under his breath while the other boy was just laughing.

"you're demanding, aren't you?"

"only when i really want something," he replied, glancing back at the boy.

he held his gaze for a few seconds before he went behind the counter to make the boy a smoothie.

"you know, these aren't even that good. how do you drink them constantly?"

"strawberry banana smoothies are the only highlight of my life."

"that's a bit sad, don't you think?"

yoongi didn't respond.

hoseok bit his lip because of the slightly uncomfortable silence between them. he just continued to make the smoothie, thinking about what the other boy had said.

"here you go, yoongs."

"yoongs?"

"it slipped out. sorry."

"it's okay..."

the look on his face didn't seem like it was okay though.

once again there was silence between the two of them, but they didn't really mind. yoongi just drank his smoothie while hoseok admired his features.

he noticed how clear yoongi's skin was, but at the same time he had series bags underneath his eyes and had pale skin. he had a cute little nose that hoseok couldn't get enough of for some reason. he noticed he had small ear piercings that suited him well, and that even his ears looked cute.

he wasn't even sure how that was possible.

"yoongi."

"hoseok."

"i want to know more about you."

he hesitated.

"there's nothing to know."

"there's always things to know, yoongi. no one is boring, especially not you."

he scoffed. "and how would you know that? you don't know anything about me besides the fact i love smoothies."

"which is exactly why you should give me your number."
