It had been over 24 days since Morgana had joined the crew. Apparently in that time Zeb hated her more. She also seemed to be friend with Hera and Chopper. As for the blind man named Kanan, they talked occasionally talked to each other but, he was away a lot. So, they didn't talk a lot or had a choice to befriend each other or hate each other.
"Morning Morgana." Ezra yawned as he walked out of the room. As for Morgana she just looked up from her food at the teen. Unlike her, he was still wearing his pyjamas and looked like he had just woken up.
"Blueberry." Morgana mumbled as she looked back down at her food. Ezra rolled his eyes as he sat down in the seat in front of her. He had tried so hard to befriend her or at least get to know why she had tried to save him. Yet, so far it seemed like she had a huge wall around her feelings like he used to do.
"Why are you doing up? It's really early in the morning." Ezra stated. Morgana stopped what she was doing. What was she supposed to say? I had a flashback of all my old friends dying before my eyes as I watched helplessly? Yeah, she didn't think so. With a sigh she just looked up at Ezra.
"I was just about to ask you both the same thing." Hera stated walking in the room. The two teenage humans in the room looked at her. Hera looked at Ezra.
"Zeb's snoring woke me up." Ezra sighed. Hera looked at Morgana next. Unlike Ezra she was avoiding eye contact. Morgana didn't like being looked in the eyes when she lied to Hera. She had already done it once when she was asked how she knew to that an Imperial official went missing last week. It made her feel as guilt as a person who had just killed their first person. So, she was pretending to chew a mouth full of food for a couple moment. Morgana gulped.
"I'm just used to waking up early." Morgana lied with a smile. Hera looked at her for minutes. She had a look on her face that made Morgana believe she didn't believe the story. Then Hera sighed.
"Well, that must have be horrible on the weekends to do that." Hera joked. Morgana relaxed a bit. Then she remembered what her weekends used to be made up of. It was mainly dead or decaying bodies. Well either that or being torture. Or endless, ruthlessly training against each other.
"It is." Morgana mumbled. Hera saw Morgana's face darken a bit as the preteen continued eating. Which Ezra had yet to notice as he was currently eating as well.
"Well, since you two are awake early, you can both go on a supply run for us." Hera smiled. Ezra groaned as he slid down a bit in his chair. As for Morgana, she just seemed a bit confused. They went to get their own supply instead of sending others to buy food? It seemed like forever since she just went to the market to go shopping. Usually she went to kill people.
"Why are you complain? I thought you liked the market on Garel?" Hera asked Ezra.
"Yeah but, now I have to get dressed and do stuff!" Ezra whined.(this is so me one the weekends.)
"Go get dressed." Hera smirked as Ezra got out of his seat. He walked out of the room. As for Morgana, she just sat there and continued eating.
"Do you have anything you have to do before you leave?" Hera asked. The girl swallowed what little food was in her mouth.
"I'll get ready later. I just wanna eat right now." Morgana stated before she took another bite of the fruit she was eating. With a shrug Hera walked out of the room. This just left Morgana sitting in the room eating by her self while thinking about the last time she was on Garel.
"Let's hope that doesn't happen again." Morgana mumbled. It had been almost two years since that day.
~explains/flash back time~
The old squad had been sent on a mission to kill an entire family. Why? They had some how disrespectful the empire a while ago. So, they found the crate they were hiding in. At this time Morgana's coworkers named Mira and Greg were still working there along with a women named Ivy.
Ivy had gone almost completely insane. She had night terrors almost every night which scared everyone and sometimes talks to people/things that weren't there. Oh and after her kills she liked to LICK the blood off of her knife. So, as you could guess the second the door opened Ivy was the first one in the room.
As she plunged the knife into the women's chest 56 times, her other coworkers attacked the man along with another person. Yet, Morgana was stuck watching in terror from a corner as Ivy went more insane. As she watched she heard a tiny cry.
She turned around to see a two year old child who was snuggled into the corner into his older siblings arms. The two children gave her a look of terror. Morgana trudging her feet over, standing between the Lassat children and Ivy. The oldest child tried to swat her away instead of screaming. She crouched down to look the child in the it's green eyes.
"Quiet. Close both you're eyes." She whispered to the child. The kid gulped as she saw the white masked figure.
"How can we trust you?" The seven year old asked as they trie dot look at their mother who was still being murdered. Morgana blocked their view. Then she lifted her mask up showing them her face. The child looked at the girl's young face.
"Cause I'm like you. I am not that insane." Morgana stated quietly. Finally both children shut their eyes tight. Morgana picked them up. At this time she used to use a cape. Yeah horrible decision. She knew that but, at the time it was used to make her feel powerful. The only reason I bring this up is that she hid them under her cape as the walked out of the ship. All while praying that no one saw them. How unfortunate for her that someone in the squad had seen what she had done and was going to make her pay for it.
~back to the point~
"Morgana! Hello? Earth to Morgana?" Ezra stated snapping his fingers in her face. She snapped back to reality. The people in the market ignored these two and were still doing what ever the hell they were doing in the market.
"So, what were you saying?" Morgana asked as she pretended to rub the scar on her shoulder blade with her free hand. Ezra sighed as he looked at the girl complete dressed in back. She was wearing a black long sleeved shirt, long black pants, black high boots, a black belt with a gun holder and two pockets attached to it, and black gloves. It kinda made it look like she was an goth chick.
"I was just asking if you knew where the Star fruit is." Ezra stated as they continued walking as he carried on of the crates of food with his right arm. Morgana fallowed him.
"Beats me." She stated as she dodged running into someone. Yet, Ezra wasn't as lucky. He bumped into a young teen. Unlike the teen the Teen seemed to be wearing imperial storm trooper outfit without the helmet.
"Hey!" The male teen snapped.
"Sorry." Ezra stated as he tried to walk off. Morgana walked over to Ezra. The second the boy saw her, his face scrunched up in disgust.
"Oh you better be sorry for being that Emo chick out here to burn our eyes with!" The teen snapped pointing to Morgana. The teens with him laughed. Ezra whirled around. He gave the the teen what Morgana assumed was supposed to be a death glare.
"Excuse me?" Ezra asked as he began walked back over to the teen. Morgana grabbed his wrist with her free arm. Ezra looked at her.
"Calm down. It's nothing to get worked up over." She stated looking at Ezra. With a sigh Ezra turned back around. The two teens began walking off.
"That's right shorty tell your whore son friend with anger problems, to calm down before I make him hurt more than he could ever imagine!" The boy snapped. Morgana spun around quickly.
"What do you just call him?" She asked as she gave him the scariest death glare he had ever seen. The teens hanging out with him felt their sins crawling in their back.
"You heard me. He's probably a whore's son who was sent here with his emo sister." The boy laughed.
Morgana handed Ezra her crate. Ezra was just as confused as the other teens as to why she was handing him the carte. That is until she literally ran as fast as she could at the teen.
The teen was knocked on to the floor. Then Morgana began punching him in the face over and over again. Everyone watched in shock as a 14 year old child beat the shit out of a 17 year old storm trooper. Ezra ran over and placed the crates on the ground next to her. He the proceeded to pick up Morgana who was yelling insults while trying to continue hitting the boy. She seemed to snap out of what ever the hell was going on with her as she was placed back in the ground a couple inches away from him. The boy's blood dripped off her gloved as Ezra picked the crates back up.
"Do not insult my friends ever. Or else next time," She dug out her gun and placed it to the bloody teenager's forehead. "You won't know what hit you."
With that Morgan and Ezra walked through the rest of the market in silence. Eventually the got the star fruit and walked back to the ship. By then the blood had soaked into her gloves. As the walked back to the ship Ezra stopped her a few steps away from the ramp.
"I just wanted to thank you for standing up for me. Even if what you did was reckless." Ezra stated. Morgana rolled her eyes.
"Says the boy who fell at an assassin's feet." Morgana snapped back. Ezra shrugged.
"I know. I just didn't think anyone else could be that reckless." He joked. That was when Hera appeared on the ramp.
"What are we gonna tell Hera?" She whispered as Hera walked towards them.
"Nothing. Or else she'll kill us." Ezra whispered back.
"Agreed."
