All anyone heard was the whistle of the bullet as it entered the room. Kathy was knocked to the ground by Eliza. Angelica, Maria and Morgana ran over.
"Did he hit anything?" Morgana asked. Eliza looked around the room while Kathy let out a cough. Nothing seemed to be there. The women in the white face mask stood up. Meanwhile the other geisha remained on the floor with her broken mask next to her face.
"I don't think so." Eliza stated standing up. Morgana on the other hand quickly ran over to Kathy. She began putting pressure on the left side of her chest. It took the girls a couple moments to realize that there was blood pouring out of the back of her chest onto the floor. Angelica ran over and helped put pressure on the wound.
"I know this must hurt but, we gotta do this Kathy." Angelica stated as she put more pressure on the wound while Maria called for help.
"I-it doesn't hurt." Kathy managed to smile. Eliza froze the same time her sister did after hear this.
"That's a good thing right?" Morgana asked. Angelica looked at the 11 year old in the white mask. She didn't want to destroy that child's last hope for her friend.
"Yeah. It's a good thing." Angelica lied. Kathy began coughing more which casued a lot more blood to cover their hands. The usually pink t'wilek now had a completely red chest. They had been sent on a mission to retrieve something. Yet, it had been a set up for sorts that seemed to be set for their master or of course, Kathy.
"Why do I have to go? I love it here." Kathy asked something while looking up in the sky. Blood began to slowly drip out of her mouth. Eliza began to help the girl's put pressure as they heard Maria yelling at the others where they were.
"Kathy you don't have to go. We love having you here." Morgana stated looking her friend in the eye. Kathy began coughing up more blood.
"Please I don't wanna go. I finally made some normal friends. I finally found a person who loves me for being me. I like my life now. Please don't make me go." She begged. This time it looked like she was looking at Angelica. Angelica felt tears fill her large brown eyes.
"You don't have to go! You can stay here with us!" Morgana stated.
"Please don't make me go. Pleas don't-" Kathy drew her last breath and became still. The sisters both removed their hands from her chest. Yet, Morgana kept pressing down in it but, much harder now.
"Guys, we gotta keep the pressure on it!" Morgana snapped. Eliza sat down next to her friend as her sister ran to go find Maria. She placed a hand on the eleven year old girl's shoulder before removing her mask. Her dark brown eyes meet Morgana's dark purple eyes.
"M, she's gone." She stated. Morgana took one last look down at her first friend. Kathy's large green eyes seemed to have glossed over. As for her face, Kathy looked a bit more relaxed. That didn't stop Morgana from sobbing her heart out while hugging Eliza to death.
"Shh, it's okay. It's okay. She's in a better place now." Eliza stated as she stroked Morgana's hair.
"Killer, did you hear what I said?" Zeb asked. Morgana jumped a bit as she looked up. She should really stop thinking about the past.
"Maybe but, could you just repeat it. For Chopper's sake." She added as she looked in front of her. Chopper let out a complaint as he smacked her arm. She jumped a bit before he rolled down to the ground in front of her.
She was sitting on the ramp. Meanwhile, Zeb and Ezra were training a bit this afternoon after a mission involving stealing something from an imperial transport on this planet. It was a fairly easy. So, the boy's were sparing for fun.
"I was asking if you think Ezra should have blocked my attack or dodged." Zeb stated as Ezra stood up behind him. Ezra was using a fake wooden bo-rifle that they had bought somewhere earlier today, while Zeb used his real one.
"Well, it depends on what he thinks he needs to do. Trust me if it's an enemy you'll know when to attack." Morgana stated laying down on the ramp. She rubbed her dark purple eyes a bit as a tiny yawn escaped her mouth.
"And if I do the wrong thing?" He asked. Morgana's mind flashed back to Kathy's death. If Kathy had shot the man on a earlier mission then, she wouldn't have died.
"Then you die. It's a sad part of life but, it happens to everyone. Eventually." Morgana stated. Ezra just started at her for a moment. Did this kid even have a happy thought in her life before? Or even smile, like ever before in her life?
"You know the killers got a point. That's the kind of stakes we're dealing with now." Zeb stated. Thousands of rebels had died due to this Assassin squad as well as the new imperial grand admiral Thrawn. Plus there was also the three new inquisitors they had heard about through a transmission before all the rebels on the ship were killed.
"Thank you douche bag." Morgana sighed as another yawn escaped her mouth. With a sigh both Ezra and Zeb sat down next to her. Meanwhile Chopper just let out a grunt of protest while rolling up the ramp to the ship.
"What are you even looking at?" Ezra asked as he laid back on the ramp to see what she was looking at. Zeb copied him. The sky seems to be a mixture of pink, orange, yellow and a bit of purple. Morgana pointed to the tiniest, as well as only dot in the sky.
"The stars." She whispered. Ezra squinted his eyes.
"That's a star?" He asked.
"Yeah. It's known as Polaris. It's said that old ship captain used to use it to know where they were going while traveling through space." She stated breathlessly. Zeb rolled his eyes.
"You know it's just a tiny dot, right?" Zeb asked sitting up.
"Until the suns set. Then it's the brightest star out on ever planet during the night." She stated. Yet, her eyes remained to on the star.
"Wow. You know you know a lot about that star."Ezra smirked sitting up.
"You haven't seen nothing yet. I can probably name 12 constellations just by looking  at them. Also I could also name 15 maybe 20 stars."
"Wait, pleas don't tell me you studied these things." Zeb whined. That sounded like the money boring thing to study in the entire galaxy.
"I did as well as learn other languages. Also I studied anatomy. Which reminds me, Zeb can I study your dead body when you die? I wanna know more about how Lasat's work." Morgana asked. Zeb just looked at her. This was a joke, right? Her eyes remained on the stars while a serious look was on her face.
"Umm, sure?" Zeb stated.
"Thanks." She stated before a yawn escaped he mouth.
Her eyes remained on the star as the sunset around her. Soon there were thousands of stars out but, her eyes remained on the one star. She didn't want to stop looking at it. If she did she would remembered the deal she made with her self last night. Plus she didn't want to think about it since there was a Jedi padawan laying down next to her. She kinda knew that Jedis and their students could read people's minds. So, she didn't want him to stop her if she whet through with it. Which seemed to be what she was going to do tonight unless the world somehow changed in ten maybe fifteen minutes.
"Do you do this often?" Ezra asked as breathlessly when he looked up at the stars. Morgana nodded her head yes.
"I used to do this a lot with my dad and siblings when I was younger. After words I did this every chance I get. It give me hope that the galaxy will be a better place for others for some reason. Doesn't it just take your breath away?" Morgana asked.
"It's amazing." Zeb smiled. Meanwhile Ezra was still looking up at the stars breathlessly. With that another (fake) yawn escaped her mouth. After that she got up and walked into the ship.
"Well, I'm gonna head to bed gentlemen. See you tomorrow." Morgana lied as she walked away. She knew for a fact that she wasn't going to see anything but, hell tomorrow. It was what she wanted after all. Or more like deserved in her opinion.
"Spectators 3,4,6 and 7, come meet our new member!" Hear stated from the ramp. Ezra got up and walked over the same time as Zeb. As for Morgana, she just groaned. All she wanted to do was die in peace on her own terms, was that to much to ask for?
"Morgana come one! I think you'll really like her!" Ezra smirked as he called for her. With a sigh Morgana turned around to see the same goddess twi'lek form earlier. Just looking at her made Morgana blush. So, all she did was stare from afar.
The blue twi'lek smiled as she talked to the others. Her smile seemed to light up the entire galaxy and made Morgana forget all the horrible shit she had done as well as seen. The blue twi'lek then began to giggled a bit which made Morgana feel really nervous. Soon she her eyes fell on Morgana. Her entire face lit up as she saw Morgana.
"Hi!" She smiled. Morgana began to have an enteral panic. She was talking to her. What the hell was she supposed to say? Hi, I'm Morgana? Hey, how's it going? Hey you sexy goddes-Yeah, that's probably not appropriate.
Ezra smirked as he dragged Morgana over to the girl by her wrist. She was blushing slightly and only Zeb as well as Ezra knew what this was about. The blue twi'lek seemed to give the biggest smile ever to Morgana. Meanwhile Hera and Kanan headed inside.
"Oh hey! You're the kid from the market a couple of weeks ago right?"" Crystal asked. Morgana just stood there as her face turned more red. What was she gonna say? Oh god, she was probably gonna fuck this up come how and embarrass her self. Then she was going to die alone with a thousand cats. Or alone in ten minutes.
"Yup!" Morgana stated as she voice cracked. Morgana began to sweat.
"Nice to meet you I'm Crystal." Crystal smiled. Morgana just stood there for a minute. Okay, Ezra was dying of laughter on the inside. Meanwhile Zeb was taking a little bit of pity for the kid. He remembered his first crush when he was her age. He could hardly get a word out. Zeb placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Her name's-" Zeb didn't even finish his sentence p.
"MORGANA! My name is Morgana." The purple eyed girl ended up saying loudly. She quickly covered her mouth. Crystal on the other hand began to giggle.
"Nice to meet you Morgana. I like your sense of humour." Crystal smiled. Morgana thanked her. Soon she was looking at the star with the others while, they had conversations. Crystal eventually sat down next to Morgana who was back to laying down on the ramp while looking up. The boy's didn't realize this since they were talking about something else.
"The Stars sure are beautiful tonight." Crystal stated as her eyes flew up to the stars. Morgana's eyes flew to Crystal.
"Not as beautiful as you." Morgana mumbled. Meanwhile Kanan was listening to the show from the ramp. This was quite interesting to watch.
"What was that?" Crystal asked looking back down at her new temporary crew member. As you could guess Morgana was blushing.
"Nothing." Morgana stated looking back at the star named Polaris.
"It's kinda funny sometime I look up there and remember when me and mom used to do this before she died. I know it's kinda stupid to think about that but, I can't help it, I miss her every day. I just wish she knew what I turned into as a preteen or as a person."
"It's kinds funny you mention that. You know when I was a little girl I used to think about the stars daily. I mean I looked at the stars my entire life during the night. My family and friends used to say I was a star waiting to shine. They said that no matter what the galaxy would change for other for the better. I miss those days when they lived but, I still know that their hopes for the galaxy still live on in everyone we meet daily and that they are still with us weather in the force or in our hearts." As she said this she didn't realize what she was doing. Crystal on the other hand just seemed to smile at her. Ezra and Zeb on the other hand glanced at her face once before doing a double take. Morgana was smiling. It was a tiny smile but, it was she first time she smiled in almost three months. Yet, as far as the crew knew, the first time ever.
"Are you smiling?" Crystal asked. Morgana blushed as her face fell. She was what now? That was before Hera called Crystal's name from inside the ship. With a sigh Crystal headed inside.
"You know you should keep it. A smile looks really good on you." Crystal smiled as she walked away. As for Morgana, she began blushing as a tiny smile spread across her lips.
"Morgana and Crystal sitting in a tree." Ezra smiled. Morgana picked up a rock and through it at him which just made him laugh loudly.
