the next day

I woke up to sodapop wrapping his arms around me and kissing my head gently. I opened my eyes and saw sodapop looking down at me smiling. "Mornin." He said. "Morning." I said sleepily. "God my head hurts." I said. When I said that soda left the room for a few minutes and came back. "Here." He said handing me two aspirins and a bottle of water. "Thanks pepsi-cola." I said. "No problem drunky." He said getting back in the bed. I glared at him and he gave me a quick kiss. "You were drunk too." I said laughing. "Yeah but you got more trashed than me." He said laughing a little. "Ok well....at least i didn't pass out while trying to have sex." I said. "Babe that was you." He said smiling at me. "Oh...be quiet or I'll kick your ass." I said jokingly. "Shut up." He said kissing me. Our kiss was long and passionate and then someone knocked on the door and opened it a little. "Before I come in are both of y'all fully dressed?" Darry asked. "Yeah come in." Soda said laughing. "I'm off to work and keep an eye on ponyboy cause he had a lot of beer last night." Darry said. "Yeah so did miss drunk over here." Soda said laughing. Darry laughed and left the room. When he left I bit soda on the chest. "Ow! What was that for?'' He asked. "For calling me drunky and miss drunk." I said looking at him. "Well you got to the count of three before I get you for biting me." He said smiling down at me. "You wouldn't." I said pulling away from him a little. "One." He said. "Shit." I said trying to get out the bed. When he got to three I was in the living room trying to get out the house. When I got out the door he was right behind me. "Come here Ricky!" He yelled. He got a hold of me tackled me to the ground. I laughed and got free from his grip. I jumped over the gate and climbed through my window before he could get me again. I shut the window and locked it so he wouldn't get in and I stuck my tounge out to him. He ran to the front door and I ran to it cause the front door wasn't locked. When I got out my room I heard the front door open so I ran into my room. I tried to shut the door but soda got through it. Next thing I knew soda picked me up and put me over his shoulder and threw me on the bed. "I got you." He said smiling while getting on top of me. "Yeah yeah." I said sarcastically. He ran his hands through my hair and gave me a quick kiss. He looked into my eyes and smiled. "What?" I asked smiling. "Nothing just you're so damn beautiful." He said smiling. I smiled and kissed him on the lips. "And you're so damn handsome." I said looking into his blue eyes. He kissed all over my face and licked the side of my face. "Ew!" I yelled while laughing. "Payback." He said. "Yeah but I didn't lick you." I said. He looked at me and bit my cheek a little. "Now it's pay back." He said laughing. "Shut up." I said. "Make me." He said teasingly. I looked at him with a 'seriously' look and kissed him for a while then I pushed him off of me. "Where you goin?" He asked sitting up. "I'm gonna take a shower." I said leaning on the bathroom door. When I said that he looked at me seductively. "No you can't join." I said before he said anything. "You're breaking my heart baby." He said putting his hand over his heart acting as if it was hurt. "I love you." I said before shutting the door. After about 15 minutes I got out and got dressed. I put on my faded jeans and my denim shirt and tied the bottom into a knot so it looked like a crop top and put my bandana in my hair and made it look like a head band. Soda was still laying on my bed so I jumped on him. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me gently. "Come on we gotta go check on ponyboy." I said trying to get off of him but he pulled me back down. "C'mon five more minutes of this." He said looking at me. "Fine but five minutes." I said laying next to him. I put my head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around me. He played with my hair while I listened to his heart beating. After about ten minutes we left and went to his house. "I'm gonna check on pony." He said. I went over to one of the couches and sat on Ryder. "Wakey wakey eggs and get the fuck up." I said in her ear. "Renah get off." She said laughing a little. "No." I said. After I said that she pushed me onto the floor. "So you and two-bit hit it off last night." I said sitting up. "Maybe." She said smiling. Everyone left but me, ryder, and johnny so we could talk about her and two. "What happened with you and two?" I asked sitting on the couch. "Well we started talking about stuff and then he asked me to dance with him and then soon after that we started making out." She said. "Aww my cousin has a love bug." I said smiling. "Shush." She said pushing me on the floor again. "Ricky you do know there's a thing called a couch right." Soda said coming into the living room. "Really? Wow I didn't know." I said sarcastically. "Smart ass." He laughed while helping me up. "Yeah but I'm your smart ass." I said. The front door slammed shut and two-bit and Steve came inside. "Hey look ryd it's your boyfriend." I teased." She looked at me and I laughed. I sat on one of the couches soda was on and put my head on his lap. I looked up at him and we started making weird faces at each other. I looked to my side and saw that two and Ryder went outside to talk and moments later he pulls a rose out of his jacket and kisses her cheek. When they come back inside i make a squealing noise. "What's wrong with you ricky?" Steve asked. "My cousin is in love." I said looking at her. She laughed and gave me the middle finger. "Aw I love you too Ryder." I said laughing.
