I walked into soda's room and sat on his bed, He was asleep so I decided to lay next to him. I got under his covers and instantly sodapop wrapped his arms around me still sleeping. I smile a little and close my eyes, ending up dozing off. *Soda's pov* I wake up to see Ricky in my arms out cold, I grin at her and kiss her cheek gently before getting up. I open the door and take one look at her before shutting the door behind me. I walk into the kitchen and see Steve sitting on the couch. "Steve come outside with me for a second I need to tell you something." I say walking to the door. I get to the car and get in Steve doing the same. "Why are we out here?" He asks with a little annoyance in his voice. "Because I need to tell you something that's really important cause you're my best friend and I trust you." I say looking at him, I look around to see if anyone was by us before talking again "I'm gonna propose to Ricky." I say smiling. Steve looked shocked and started talking. "You're joking." He says. "I'm being serious, I'm gonna ask her to marry me." I say smiling. "Wow that's fantastic sodapop. When are you gonna do it?" He asked. "Tonight at lookout mountain." I said. "I'm happy for you man." He says punching my arm playfully. "I'm so excited, I just love her so much you don't understand she's so caring, smart, beautiful, doesn't give up on anything or anyone, fights for the ones she loves, funny, she's perfect and I want to spend the rest of my life with her and have kids with her.'' I say smiling like an idiot. "And I was wondering if you want to be my best man?" I ask him, "soda you already know the answer to that question." He said laughing.
Later that night
*Ricky's pov* "I can't tell him rebel not tonight." I say pacing back and forth in my room. "Ricky it's ok he's gonna be ok, you're gonna be ok." She said trying to calm me down. "Look you and soda are going out tonight you can tell him then okay?" "Ok yeah you're right this is fine, I'm fine I don't know why I'm freaking out." I say still trying to calm down. "Look at me Ricky man up deep breath in and out, do them with me." She said grabbing my shoulders "now what you're gonna do is put on that dress and go on a date with your boyfriend and tell him you're pregnant." I tried to say something but she cut me off and threw my dress at me, "what did I say?" She asked "put on the dress." I said. "What are you still doing standing there then?" She asked. I went to out on the dress and put my hand over my stomach, "here goes nothing baby." I said.

Soda pop took me too lookout mountain for our date tonight, it was so beautiful and quiet you could see over the town from here. We got out of his truck and set the blanket down in the tail of his truck so we can see the view. We sat there for a little looking at the stars and talking and can't help falling in love came on the radio, "dance with me." Soda said standing up, I grabbed his hand and he pulled me close to him, we stayed to the flow of the music and I loved every bit of it. "I love you so much renah." Soda said too me. "I love you too Pepsi-cola." I say smiling at the nickname. "No like I really love you so much you don't understand, I'm head over heels for you. You have gotten me through so much in my life and I'm grateful, you stuck by my side since the day we met, when I dropped out, when my parents died, too now. Yeah we have arguments but that's cause we care for each other and we've been through so much shit it's not funny, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, have a family together, and grow old together. You're the one baby, you're the girl I want to continue this journey with and" soda got down on one knee and pulled a ring out of his pocket "what I'm asking you is will you be Renah Ricky Curtis?" I was in shock, I had tears falling down my face already, "sodapop yes! Yes! yes! yes! a thousand times yes baby!" I said crying. He slid the ring on my finger, picked me up and spun me around. I grabbed his face and started kissing him like I haven't kissed him in forever. "I love you so much." I said. "I love you too Ricky Curtis." He said smiling. "And soda the family idea kinda already started." I said, soda looked at me confused for a second then his eyes got wide when I put his hand on my stomach. "You're pregnant!" He screamed, "we're pregnant, you're gonna be a dad." I said smiling. Soda got on his knees and hugged my stomach and kissed it "I love you so much tiny baby." He said crying " and I love you, we did this we started this family." He said smiling. "Yeah we did." I said crying tears of joy.
