Birthday

We were all hanging out at the vacant lot playing football today. Soda, Darry, Steve, Ryder, and Johnny were on a team and Two-bit, Dally, Pony, Rebel, and I were on a team. "Come on guys we get this touchdown and we win." Dally said. Dally gave a plan and we listened. We got to the middle of the field and got ready. I looked at soda and he mouthed "loser" and I rolled my eyes and stuck my tounge out to him. "Hike!'' Yelled Darry. Everyone tried to block each other and I went long. I ended up catching the ball and started running. Soda started to run in front of me so I dodged him and he fell to the ground and I ran to where touchdown was. "We won!" Two-bit yelled while running to me. He picked me up and spun me around. We were all cheering and laughing and started walking back to the house. Soda and I stayed in the back holding hands and talking about my birthday tomorrow. "Ok so what do you want to do tomorrow?" I asked. "Baby I'm sorry but I'm working tomorrow I wish I could spend your birthday with you but I promise I'll make it up to you." Soda said. "Oh yeah that's fine." I said looking down. "Hey look at me." He said lifting my head up. "I promise we'll do something for your birthday this weekend." He said looking at me. "Ok babe." I said smiling. By the time we got to the house the sun was setting. "Hey babe I think I'm gonna stay out here for a few minutes." I said. "Ok." He said. Everyone went inside so it was me and the sky with its multiple beautiful colors.

*Soda's P.O.V*
"Ok guys remember nobody tell Renah about her surprise party tomorrow." I said. "Rebel and Ryder remember to take her out tomorrow until 7." I said looking at them. "We know soda." Rebel said. "Sodapop she's coming inside." Darry said.

*Ricky P.O.V*
I walked in the house and everyone was staring at me and it was quiet. I looked at them weird and went to the couch, soon Sodapop came over and sat next to me. I layed my head on his lap and had my legs dangling of the arm of the couch. Sodapop started running his fingers through my hair and planting kisses on my forehead every now and then while I dozed off. "Baby wake up." Soda whispered. "What? What time is it?" I asked sitting up. "Its 12:30 and I'm walking you home." Soda said. We got up from the couch and went to my house holding hands. We went into my room and I changed into pajama shorts and a t shirt. I turned around and soda was laying on my bed staring at me smiling. "Take a picture it will last longer." I said sarcastically. "Maybe I will." He said laughing. I got on top of him and grabbed his hands. "Guess what." I said. "What?" He asked. "I'm now seventeen." I said smiling. "Happy birthday baby." Soda said. I leaned towards him and we kissed for a few seconds. Soda cupped his hands around my face and kissed me again. When Soda slipped his tounge in my mouth i let out a soft moan. His hand slowly slid down to my waist and started to go under my shirt. He started kissing my neck when someone knocked on the window. We stopped and slowly looked out the window to see Ryder. I got off of soda and opened the window. "Ryder you could of used the front door." I said while helping her get in my room. "The door was locked." She said. She looked at me and soda and smirked at us. "Well I guess I'll be going to my room..don't want to be a bother." She said sarcastically cause she figured out what we were doing. When she left the room soda wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close to him. "I should go too." He said. "Come on can you please stay?" I asked. "I have to be at work in the morning." He said. "Well can you at least stay until I fall asleep?" I asked while wrapping my arms around his neck. "Sure." He said smiling. He picked me up and put me on the bed and layed down next to me. I put my head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around me and rubbed my back. After a few minutes I started to get tired and soon I felt Sodapop's lips kiss my head. "Happy birthday Renah I love you." He whispered and I smiled a little.

*Few hours later*
"Happy birthday Ricky!!!" Ryder and Rebel screamed while jumping on my bed. I groaned and threw a pillow at one of them. "Come on Ricky we got a lot of thing's planned for you today." Ryder said. "Can I get a few minutes of sleep please." I said putting the blanket over my head. "Hell no." Rebel said while ripping the blanket off of me. "You shouldn't of stayed up all night having sex with my brother." Rebel said laughing. "We weren't having sex you can ask ryder." I said. "Yeah they weren't he just stayed over." She said. I rolled my eyes at them and got dressed, I put on my dark blue jeans with my black tank top with my converse. We ate the breakfast that my mom made and headed out. We spent the whole day shopping and trying on wedding dresses for fun and drove back to the house at about 6:30. "Thank you so much for today guys." I said while getting out of the car. "Anything for the birthday girl." Rebel said.  "Hey I'm gonna go to my house for a few minuets." Rebel said. Ryder and I went inside to wait on rebel. "Hey Ricky you should try on that blue shirt with the lacy tank top." Ryder said. "I would but I didn't get it." I said sitting on her bed. She looked at me and pulled something out of one of her bags. "Oh my god Ryder!" I yelled excitedly. "Thank you." I said hugging her. "No problem." She said hugging me back. As I put it on rebel came in the room. "Looking good sexy." She said. We all laughed and chilled in ryder's room for a little. "Hey Ricky are you ok?" Ryder asked. "Yeah I'm fine." I said. "No you're not..what's bugging you?" She asked. "Is it my brother?" Rebel asked. "I kinda wished he was able to spend my birthday with me but next weekend he said he's gonna make it up." I said. "Awww Ricky." Ryder said hugging me. "If it makes you feel better I saw a big tub of icecream at my house lets go get it." Rebel said getting up. Once we got to her house it was dark inside and I couldn't see. "Rebel I can't see shit." I said trying not to trip over anything. "Let me turn on the light." She said. When the lights came on the gang came out from behind the furniture and the kitchen and yelled surprise. I screamed a little and laughed, I saw Sodapop walking towards me and I hugged him tight. "You really thought I was gonna miss your birthday." He said in my ear. I looked up at him and we kissed for a short second. Darry brought out the cake and everyone started singing happy birthday. We had cake and icecream then we all talked for a few hours. "Go to my room and wait for me." Soda whispered to me. There was no point in trying to sneak off cause the gang was either drunk or not paying attention to us but I did what he said. I sat on soda's bed waiting for him, after about two minutes he came into the room and shut the door. "So you planned all of this?" I asked. "Yep." He said. "Well thank you baby." I said wrapping my arms around his waist. "I have a present for you, close your eyes." Soda said. I closed my eyes and heard soda opening a draw. "Open." He said. I opened my eyes and he was holding a heart shaped sapphire necklace. "It's your birth stone." He said. "Oh my god baby I love it." I said squealing a little. I turned around so Soda could put the necklace on me. "Thank you so much for today sodapop I love you." I said while wrapping my arms around his neck. "You're welcome Ricky I love you too." He said while putting his hands on my hips and pulling me closer to him so he could kiss me.
