The next day in history class, everyone was getting their tests back. Amber, Hildegard, and Clio were very unhappy because they failed.

"Oh, I can't believe it," Amber pouted.

"Why does it have to be this way?" Hildegard joined her.

"I guess this is why some kids study," Clio sighed.

"Congratulations, Prince Hugo—a well-deserved A+," Flora smiled.

"Thank you, Miss Flora," Hugo blushed.

"Princess Sofia, I'm very impressed with you as well," Flora told Sofia.

Sofia had gotten an A- on her test. "Thank you, Miss Flora," she smiled.

At lunch, Sofia and Hugo were having fun, talking and laughing.

"All that extra studying really paid off," Hugo smiled.

"It sure did," Sofia smiled. "But next time you study for a test, don't put so much pressure on yourself."

"Okay, I won't," Hugo agreed.

Amber, Hildegard, and Clio were eyeballing the duo jealously. Their friends in the Lily Princess Club were a little concerned—but it didn't take long for them to catch on.

"Eyeballing Sofia and Hugo, are we?" Princess Zooey asked.

"Yes, I just don't get that girl," Hildegard pouted. "Yesterday, we made beautiful gowns, and he barely even noticed. Then Sofia waltzed in and won him over—Hugo even have her a necklace his mom used to wear."

"Oh, how romantic," Princess Vivian gushed.

"Romantic? It's dreadful," Amber protested. "When we do something big, Hugo barely notices. But when Sofia shows up, she steals his heart."

"Well, she cares more about his personality and well-being than his looks," Princess Adara pointed out. "She was worried about him yesterday because he was freaking out about the test. That's how she won him over."

It was true—Sofia was worried about Hugo yesterday. But Amber, Hildegard, and Clio still wished they could've won him over that easily.
