I don't know what context to put this in. It's night and they're somewhere in like a tower I guess and it's after the war
"Don't. Move." Potter stared right at my nose.
"What?" I sneered. I still didn't even know why I was up here with him.
"You've got..." His face suddenly brightened. "A firefly." He smiled.
My entire body stiffened. I could feel it crawling across my face. I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Are you scared?" Harry giggled.
"Off. Get it off," I demand through gritted teeth.
"You're afraid of a little firefly?" He cracked up. It was on my cheek. "Aww," he smirked as I whimpered.
I flinched when Harry's hand reached out. But I just held my breath as he placed his index finger on my cheek. From the corner of my eye I could see the flashing green-yellow of a firefly making its way to Harry. I wished he hadn't taken his finger off my face, but he did get the bug. I hate bugs.
"Thank you," I managed before falling back, my arm under my head.
"Everything we went through... and you're afraid of insects." He chuckled. "Didn't see that coming."
The firefly scuttled onto Harry's wrist.
"Look, Draco, it's harmless," he whispered, as if speaking too loud would scare the bug away. It flickered making Harry gasp.
I looked up, intrigued at his bright face.
"You... you called me Draco?" I whispered, as if speaking too loud would scare Harry away. He looked up at me, smiling.
"Do you want to be something else?" Completely and utterly yours.
"No one. I-I mean..." I shook my head. What was going on with me? "Sorry, no, I love Draco. I love you... calling me Draco," I said slowly.
"I love you... calling me Harry," he responded. My chest swelled with anxiety and excitement. He said he loved me, in a way. I said it too.
The firefly had flew right onto my chin. I yelped, sitting back up.
"Get it away!" I cried. Harry grinned, flicking it off. But then he kept his hand on my neck, slipping it up to my jaw.
"Harry," I murmured. He closed his eyes and pressed his fingers into my skin. "Don't we hate each other?"
His green eyes, flecked with yellow, rimmed with blue, looked into mine so kindly. It seemed so easy for him to see right into me.
"Does it look like I hate you?" He whispered, running his thumb along my jawline. At some point his face got closer but I couldn't tell you when.
"Um, no." I needed to say something. "For the record, I don't hate you either." Harry had pretty lips. They were smiling too. Because of me. I made Harry Potter smile. "Harry," I breathed. God. God, I love him so much.
I memorised his eyes. I was nearly done with his lips until I realised I'll never be able to truly remember this boy of i don't feel him. I closed my eyes, leaning into his fingertips. I felt his heartbeat pounding fast under his skin. I can't ever forget this. There's no ending because I'm sad and I can't write anymore :)
