Noah

You know that song 'I don't want to miss a thing' by Aerosmith? That's the exact song to describe how I feel laying next to Puck while she snores quietly. It's the girliest snore I've ever heard.

Believe it or not I have never actually slept with a girl. Oh sure I've had sex, but I have never slept with them. Never pulled them close just to be able hold them all night, nor had I wanted to.

But holding Puck was different. Her hair splays out over my arm that is tucked under her neck. The whole arm is tingling and numb, but I don't care. I can't stop looking at her.

I don't want to close my eyes. I don't want to fall asleep because I don't want to waste a moment of holding her close. I'm sure by morning she'll be gone and then what?

Does this make us friends? Do I hold her hand and walk her down the hall and call her my girlfriend? Girlfriend?

oh hell no, slow down Strauss. This isn't how people date is it?

Oh I may or may not have mentioned I've never had a girlfriend either.

I know what you're thinking, but relationships are too much work. It's easier to just fool around and be done with it. I always tell girls straight up before we do anything I don't do relationships.

Some of them don't either, but then there are the few like Jessica who just can't get the hint.

Puck sneezes a cute high pitched Achoo! Before snuggled deep under my comforter and burrowing her head into my chest. She locks her bare bent knees around my left leg still facing away from me and its surprisingly comfortable.

"Noah." she murmurs.

"Yes Angel?"

No reply.

I kiss the top of her head and finally drift into a deep slumber, completely elated that I was the first thought that came to her mind when she was partially conscious.

She can pretend all she wants, but Puck Greene likes me.
