P.S. KEEP IN MIND THIS STORY WAS ORIGINALLY STARTED ALMOST 2 YEARS AGO WHEN THE WHOLE KONY THING WAS GOING ON AND I DECIDED NOT TO EDIT IT OUT BECAUSE IT WOULD TAKE OUT A LOT OF STUFF IN THIS STORY.

"Today's forecast calls for thunderstorms, most of which are severe....."I could hear the news from upstairs in my room, sitting at my vanity, while I dried my hair and got ready for Lindon’s and my newest weekend escapade. I groaned, this was what I'd expected, since the clouds were rolling in so dark and no Sun was shining. Just from hearing it though sent me into a wave of sadness. I was looking forward to going on a ferry ride today for the first time ever. Lindon was going to take us, and yes I admit I've started to look forward to these outings. They got me out of the house and away from my dad, and they got him away from having to be with his dad.
I've learned some things about him and one of those things was that he didn't like spending time with his dad. Another thing I learned was that his mom died when he was 13. I think it was good for me to spend time with him, I learned that even though not everyone’s life is as messed up as mine, they still have crappy lives too.
The song "AntiVist" by Bring Me the Horizon came on causing me to make a mad dash around my room trying to locate my phone. I searched until I remembered I left it in the bathroom charging while I was showering. I face palmed and quickly found it on the sink; charging of course, and answered it without thinking to look at the caller I.D.
"Hey are you ready? I'm on my way right now." Lindon's voice said. I could hear the thunder in the background and from outside at the same time making it sound odd, like an echo of sorts.
"Wait it's going to rain though." I pointed out.
"Well duh." He chuckled I could almost imagine him rolling his eyes in a playful manner. I could hear people yelling in the background signifying he wasn’t alone.
"Then how are we going to go if it's raining?" I asked him very confused, ignoring the yelling people.
"Change of plans, it's a surprise now." He sounded cheerful; I could almost hear the smile in his voice. "But don't worry, Lanie's coming too so don't feel intimidated or anything." He quickly added. Ah I see he's starting to catch on, lucky him. Most people never even tried to catch on so Lanie always got left out of things. By catch on, I mean I feel uncomfortable when not with someone familiar and even if I’ve known someone for quite some time I still have a hard time opening up.
"I hate surprises." I told him groaning, but smirking at the same time. I have no idea how that was possible, but apparently it happened.
"I know." He said almost instantly after. "You complained about the ferry ride until I told you remember? Lanie had to explain to me about surprises and how you two don't mix."
"Ok. That still doesn’t fix anything though." I shrugged forgetting he couldn't see me over the phone, but not really caring at the moment. “At least give me a hint so I won’t be going into this blind?!”
"I'll be there in five." He said before hanging up on me; again, and not caring to answer my question either. No way! He hung up on me again! What is up with him and doing that, gah! I mentally groaned as I noticed I had no clothes on still only my white towel.
