The Funny think is so sick is a song by Flyleaf even though it has nothing really to do with my predicament and Raine is Lacy from Flyleaf lol. No but seriously i have such a bad cold and im running a slight fever. Blah but i will give this to you because apparently being sick makes me want to write.

The shouting of two soon to be siblings woke me up that morning. "It's 7 in the morning why are we shouting?" I grumbled wiping the sleep out of my eyes. I sat up slowly because I just got out of a really good dream and I didn’t want it to end.
"We have to be out of here by 9 so hurry up." Lanie threw my bag onto the bed. I noticed I was still wearing the clothes I'd worn last night. Self-consciously I combed my hands through my hair and sighed. I got up and walked into the bathroom with my clothes in my hand. I threw on a grey Asking Alexandria shirt with a zombie girl ripping her heart out and some black skinnies with paint splatters over them. I remember how I got the splatters it was so fun; Lanie and I were painting her room freshman year and I accidently got paint on her sock so she flung her paint brush at me and got it all down my front it was so hilarious when we tried to explain to our parents why there was more paint on us than the walls. I shrugged into my hoodie from last night, noting it had the scent of Lindon all over it, making me smile I swear he smells like a calm summer night, the comfort to be more exact. My smile faded though, as soon as I remembered where I'd be going back to. I'd honestly rather spend time with Rose and Violette, having them do my hair and make-up than go there, but I can't leave my mom home alone with the devil's spawn. I promised her and she promised me and we keep our promises unlike my dad does.
"Let's go." I mumbled as soon as I get into the small kitchen space. My mood really had plummeted since I thought of going home.
"Well someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." Lindon spoke jokingly, he didn’t understand why I was so mad and I planned on keeping it that way. His smile towards me showed that he believed we were more than acquaintances.
"Wipe the smile off your face." I looked at him briefly. I chanted in my head, he doesn’t know and he doesn’t need to know, and we can never be anything more than acquaintances.
"What?" The smile slowly slipped off his face. He looked like someone had just told him Santa Claus didn't exist. I felt really bad about hurting him like that, but I still wasn’t going to answer him, the more distance he put between us the better, though it seemed like Lanie had other ideas than me.
"Don't worry she's just super bipolar." Lanie smirked. She stuck her tongue out like she did every time I acted like a bitch.
"Honestly, I just might be." I stated matter of factly. "I mean my dad is." I muttered softly hoping they wouldn't hear, but of course they did, and by they I mean Lindon.
Lindon's face lit up like he'd just won the jackpot. "Your dad's bipolar?" He asked curiously. He was probably only happy that he caught what I said even though I was trying to hide it from him; he probably knew I was trying to hide it too.
"Yes." I gave him a cold look, there's no way in hell I was going to bring my dad up in this conversation any more than I already had.
"Ah, I've never met your parents yet and Lanie's mom always talks about them." He told me, while he searched through his clothes bag for his cell phone. He looked back up at me and I could tell he was slightly hurt by me being so mean to him. That only caused me to mentally slap myself for causing his beautiful eyes to look like that, which caused me to slap myself again this time physically for thinking his eyes were beautiful.
