Words of fury were declared in the dead of the night
Iago and Roderigo headed to steer a fight
For the fair Desdemona to marry the Moor
Was a thought Roderigo could not endure
So they made many a slanderous remark
Directing Brabantio to quickly depart
With Roderigo leading him the way
To the commencement of Iago's wicked play
While Othello was with his paramour
Unaware of the trials awaiting their romantic summer
News about the war was brought to Othello by his men
Which required him to come right then
Paths crossed and swords clashed between the two
But halted as Othello had a meeting to head to
Brabantio decided to bring his cause to the duke
As he must not let his daughter marry an ebony kook
Fair Desdemona was brought forth
She declared her unwavering love of her consort
No longer would Brabantio claim her as his own
As she was no longer whom he had known
Thus Othello was proved to be ingenuous
And they prepared to leave for Cyprus
Just as Iago hatched his monstrous scheme
To sabotage the two lovers' dream

PoesiaSo, I decided to convert Shakespeare's play "Othello" into a poem. This poem is like a summary of the story, basically the main events that occurred throughout the play.
