As soon as light made itself visible in the sky
Faint-hearted Cassio came by
To finally converse with his ex-commander's mistress
Iago assured him he'll provide some distance
To draw the Moor out of the way
So Cassio's case could be freely conveyed
Off went Iago with foul intent
To commence the plan which he dreamt
Innocent Desdemona pledged to aid Cassio's cause
Because a good friend of Othello he was
For Cassio helped the two lovers unite
By bringing them their messages each night
Away went Cassio as Othello came
As he could not present himself due to shame
"Oh, look how he leaves,
It's the way of a thieve."
With Iago feeding Othello lies
Desdemona appeared deceitful in his eyes
Thus Othello waited and closely eyed
Her way and speech when she was side by side
Suspicion being Othello's reaction
To Desdemona's each and every action
Which caused Othello to break apart
Both in peace of mind and heart
Othello now wanted evidence to believe
That he was certainly being deceived
Iago notified him that he had seen
Cassio wiping his beard clean
With a handkerchief of strawberry marking
Which certainly belonged to his darling
Othello consumed by jealousy
Could no longer think sensibly
All of Othello's fond love got drained away
As he sought after Cassio's blood all day
Iago vowed to aid him in whatever cause
No matter how dreadful, he would not pause
Othello put Iago's steadfast resolve to test
By commanding him to put Michael Cassio to rest
While furious Othello pondered for a way
On how the fair devil should be slayed

Othello, the Moor of Venice
PoesíaSo, I decided to convert Shakespeare's play "Othello" into a poem. This poem is like a summary of the story, basically the main events that occurred throughout the play.
