Carina's P.O.V
I sat in the common room pretending to read a book while Blaise and Draco-who sat on either side of me-talked about the triwizard tournament across me.

"Do you want to go down to the great hall and see who enters to be a champion?" asked Pansy who had appeared in front of me.

"Merlin yes," I said grateful for an excuse to get away from Draco and Blaise.

"sounds like fun, we'll come with you," said Blaise as he rose from his seat and slipped his hand into mine. I mentally grimaced  but didn't say anything as we all exited the common room as a group.

When we entered the great hall all of the tables had been cleared and a large rustic goblet with blue fire sat in the middle of the room. None of us were old enough to enter but I recognized a few older Slytherins who put their name in. A pretty French girl put hers in, the famous seeker Viktor Krum did as well, along with an attractive Hufflepuff boy. A few other less notable people who I had never seen before also put their names in.

There was a big commotion at the front of the room as Fred and George ran into the room excitedly while people cheered and clapped them on the back.

"Well lads, we've done it," exclaimed George.

"cooked it up just this morning," finished Fred. The Gryffindors around them cheered once more. Why were Gryffindors always so loud?

"that is never going to work," I mumbled to my friends who sniggered. I hadn't intended for anyone else to see but Fred and George both turned around to look at me.

"Oh yeah?" asked Fred who moved to sit down next to me.

"And why's that little miss Malfoy?" inquired George who pushed Blaise aside to sit on my other side. I shot both of them a sharp look.

"you see this Weasel?" I asked pointing towards a bright ring that surrounded the goblet, "That is an age line. Dumbledor drew it himself," I explained.

"So?" asked Fred dumbly.

"So, a powerful wizard like Dumbledore couldn't possibly be fooled by two dimwitted weasels with a homemade aging potion," I said sharply.

"yeah but that's why it's so brilliant," started Fred.

"Cause were so dimwitted," finished George. I raised a confused eyebrow but didn't say anything else about the matter.

"Ready Fred?" asked George.

"Ready George," confirmed Fred. They sprang up and linked arms so they each held a potion to the others lips.

"bottoms up," they sang in unison before dipping their potions back and swallowing them. They-much to my surprise-successfully jumped across the age line. Everyone cheered except for my friends who scowled at their success. I wasn't scowling but I was watching what would happen next with interest. They smirked and threw the paper with their names scrawled on it in at the same time. Everyone paused for a moment but continued their cheers when the paper was eaten up by the fire. Their cheers were cut short though when blue fire erupted from the cup and began to swirl around the room before circling Fred and George and hitting them in the chest which sent them flying across the room.

"Oh Merlin," I gasped quietly while standing up abruptly. Pansy, Draco, and Blaise turned to look at me sharply and I quickly sat back down. Fred and George sat up and I felt myself breath a sigh of relief that George was alright. When they sat up I couldn't help but laugh when I saw they had sprouted long white beards, looks like their aging potion did work. They immediately tackled each other and I had to try and suppress my laughter.
