"Stop worrying, you're going to be fine," insisted George.

"I'm not worried," I protested although he and I both knew that wasn't true. Break had ended a month ago and this was the day George had decided I would 'meet' his friends.

He had completely blindsided me with it. I knew George wanted them to get to know me but I had no idea it was going to be today that we made our formal introductions. George and I had plans for tonight and when I showed up he simply told me that I would be meeting them despite whether or not I wanted to.

And I did not want to.

I couldn't help but feel that it would be more like an interrogation than a proper introduction and I was dreading it.

"I wish you had told me they were going to be here before I came," I said while we waited in the passageways for them.

"So you could skip out on us?" He questioned with an amused smirk.

I rolled my eyes trying to disguise his accuracy. I would never admit just how terrified I was to meet his friends.

Before I could be pulled deeper into my panicky thoughts a large group of people rounded the corner and the eyes of Fred, Potter, Weasley, Granger, and Ginny Weasley all landed on me.

"Gin, I didn't know you would be here," spoke George surprisedly.

"Ron told me," she said and I was surprised to hear that there was no spite in her voice, just quite a bit of shock.

"Hello Carina," Said Fred while dramatically dipping down to kiss my hand.

I rolled my eyes "Hi Fred,"

They were all staring at me. I felt like an animal in an exhibit at the zoo.

"It's nice to properly meet you," said Granger moving to shake my hand which I accepted. She had a good handshake, much better than I would have expected for a-

No I couldn't think that way.

"You as well," I said politely making sure my face showed nothing of my thought process.

Silence befell on us once again. I was surprised that it was Ron who broke the silence this time "So how long have you two, you know?" He asked pointing between George and I.

"Been together? You know you can say it out loud right?" I asked jokingly. I was pleasantly surprised when the others laughed, however Ron just huffed.

"September," said George

"October," I said at the exact same moment as George, our different word colliding.

"September?" I questioned.

"October?" He mimicked  "Our first kiss was in-"

"September, but we didn't start dating until October," I stated.

"Yes but-"

"Merlin you two are like an old married couple," groaned Fred.

George and I had turned to face each other with our sides to the group of Gryffindors. We both ceased our arguing and I could feel the heat rising to my face that probably mimicked George's blush. They all seemed rather amused except for Ron who had a nasty scowl on his face. Hermione noticed this and elbowed him in the ribs.
