(It's been year... opps)
"Welcome to Wolf's Ear books how may I help you" I chirp wiping my hands across my shirt. I continued stacking books my back towards the costumer. "Well I was wondering if the cute guy working wanted to grab some food" I hear the familiar voice say, causing my face to burn. "Travis, shouldn't you be hanging out with Zane, you know your boyfriend" I chuckled placing down the rest of the novels. "Dantes gonna be there" He cooed sitting on top of the checkout counter.
"You realize I eat with him everyday, right" I say rolling my eyes and untying my apron. Travis groaned over-dramatically his beanie falling to the floor. I tossed my apron into the storage room as Travis beckoned me to go with him.
He continued to pester me as I continued to lock up shop. He eventually resorted to saying 'please, please, please' over and over again. "Oh my IRENE if I say yes will you leave me alone" I shout smacking the wooden counter. Travis nods continuously and I jumped over the wooden counter. "Fine then let's go" I smirk walking towards the exit. "Easy much" Travis laughs sprinting out the doors.
"You've seen my nudes before are you even surprised" I shrug as we walked to the diner.

"Dante I think it's time" I say looking into his bright blue eyes my journal held tightly to my chest. "Are you sure, love" he asks rubbing my arms calmly.
Is it honestly time to give this journal back to the original owner. Will he even want the dingy old journal filled with my horrible cursive writing. Each entry detailing the worst and best occurrences of my life. Honestly I don't know why I even want to meet the man who left me...
I take a deep breath, tears filling my green eyes.
"Yes Dante, I think it's time, I'm gonna call Garte" I breath; Dante kisses my forehead. "I'll be right there when you do, just like I've always been and will be" my loving fiancé smiles.
I step away from him, reaching for the home phone left on the kitchen counter. I dialed the number that I've memorized but have never used. The phone ringed in rhythm with my breathing.
"Vylad, my boy how have you been" Garte's rough voice says over the phone.
"I'm ready to know who my father is, Garte" I say fear filling my tired voice.
"I see, I will text you his address, just please let me apologize. I know I haven't been the best dad for you, let alone someone who treated you kindly-"
"Dad, I know-"
"You've never called me dad before" I hear him sniffle over the phone, he cleared his throat and continued. "Know that I love you, and I'm very excited to meet my grandkids at the wedding" Dad said, I could hear the smile on his face.
"I love you and I'll see you soon" I chuckle, hanging up the phone. I placed down the phone and started to write a new entry as I waited for Gar-Dad to text me.
"Dear Diary,
I feel like I've finally repaired the relationship I've had with Garte, or I've now come to call him Dad.
Dante and I will be married in a few months, and in a few days Neko-ette and Dimitri will be my legal children. I've never been so happy in my life
-Vylad Ro'Meave"I finished the final entry I can write in this tiny journal. A book I've filled my life story with, each page filled cover to cover. I flipped to the first page, the now yellowed piece of lined paper still taped inside; when an idea hit me.
"Neko-ette, please grab me a piece of lined a paper" I shout as my daughter runs from the living room, her pink notebook in hands.
"Take the entire thing if you need it" She smiles hugging me tightly. "Thank you so much" I kiss her forehead and she ran off.
"Dear Father,
You probably don't know who I am, but that doesn't matter. I really would like to meet you, and have you meet my family. I've had this journal for over 25 years now and it's filled with my life story. I'd love for you to read it. I know it's a lot to ask but I'm getting married in August and would love for you to come,,, I love you a lot. You've helped me through more then you will ever know or understand.
-Vylad Ro'Meave"I smile to myself as I fold the paper, using a spare shoelace to tie it to the journal. "Let's hope that this makes it" I whisper to myself placing the journal into a box.
Goodbye my dear friend, I'll miss you.
I close and tape the box shut, writing the address sent to me by Dad. "Honey, can you drive this to the post office to me" I ask but hear a voice I was not expecting.
"He can't but I will" Travis smiles grabbing the box from my hand and heading for the door.
"Love you" I shout, watching him smile and close the door.

August 3rd, the best day of my life.
Being able to dance with the man I love, getting to see him smile brightly. Finally hearing 'Dante Ro'Meave' said aloud my many.
As I dance with the man I've come to love over the years I've lived here, the music stops. Why did the music stop? Why is Dante pulling away from my arms?
Why does he feel the need to cover my eyes?"Do you trust me" Dante whispers in my ear, his hands over my eyes.
"Yes" I say confusion covering my voice. He chuckles at my concern, as someone grabs my arms. I hold them up when they let go confused but not scared. The person places an item in my hands, feels like a small box but has a softer texture.
"I've read your story, and I think it's about time you read mine" A male voice says as Dante pulls his hands away from my eyes. My eyes adjust to the light as I look at a small red journal sits in my hands. I look up and see a tall man.... with familiar green eyes and deep brown hair.
I feel tears stream down my face as I look at the tan man. "Dad" I stutter and all he does is nod.
I hug him tightly, him wrapping his arms around me; a feeling of warmth surrounding me.
"I love you son"
"I love you too Dad"
