Karma's POV
I was laying down at my usual spot under a tree in the forest near my school when I want to skip classes. I shifted my gaze to the 3E mountain. I recalled my memories I had that time.
I remember the fun times in 3E. My first assasination attempt on Korosensei where I jumped off a cliff, not caring what will happen to me. The times I ask Manami to whip up chemicals for my pranks on Terasaka and assasination attempts on Korosensei, the grand assasination attempt at the island trip, the God of Death encounter and many more.Every memory that resides within that time....
Those were the most fun times in my life.
After Korosensei died, I tried to follow his lifebook advice (which was almost a million pages) but still.... I kinda felt that something is missing in my life. Something that I cannot explain why. Eversince 3E ended, my life became duller than usual. I would go to school, skip classes, doze off, take exams, beat up delinquents or compete academically with Ass-ano er.. Asano... always the usual routine in school. My life was boring..... Until my parents decided to move out of our old house and transfer to a larger one. Then I met Manami again. That's the time whe-
"Oi Akabane Karma! Get up! We have a group project!" I heard an annoying voice say.
My train of thoughts were cut off.
"Huh?" I looked above and saw a strawberry blonde haired guy wih purple orbs. It was none other than Asano.
"What do you want?" I said nonchalantly.
"Akabane. We have a group project."
"So~?" I replied while turning to the side.
"You're coming with me. I won't let my grades drop because of you."
"I don't wanna"
I heard him sigh. The next thing I knew, I was being dragged away from my position.
"Ok, ok cut it out! I can walk by myself!" I said irritatedly.
"Come with me to the library. The group is waiting. We're going to do the project in there."
"Tch"
I followed him to the library and we were greeted by 2 other members.
"Hello Akabane-kun, we are your group mates." A girl with a long black hair said.
"Hello. So, who are you?" I said.
"What?! You don't know us? We're in the same class. She replied.
I just shook my head.
"No, because I'm not really interested with the people around me."
She just sighed. "I'm Yumeno Sakiko, and that's Gasai Kenichii."
I just nodded and sat at the end of the table beside Asano. The boring meeting lasted for two hours.
"See you tommorow Akabane-kun!" Yumeno-san said.
I just nodded my head and turned away, walking with Asano.
"So Akabane, are you planning to beat me in the coming midterms?"
"Hmm~ I'll win so, you shouldn't have bothered asking." I replied, wearing my usual smirk.
"Heh, quite confident are we? Why don't we make a bet?" He replied, also smirking.
*staring contest*
Fine, bring it on.
And the bet, is a SECRET.
I walked away from the school, smirking about the bet. I started planning what I would do to him if I win. I suddenly got surrounded by two tough looking guys.
