Manami's POV
As I finished eating breakfast, I headed straight to Karma's house. I rang the doorbell. Thinking about what Akari-nee said about love earlier..... I'm getting nervous. Should I tell him? Or... not.... what if he doesn't like me? What if--
"Yo Manami" Karma was now in front of me.
"Ah.. Hi K-karma!" Oh no.... why am I stuttering?!
He invited me inside his house.
"Hey Manami. Can you wait for a few minutes? I'm just going to get changed." He said as he climbed up the wooden flight of stairs.
"Y-yeah.. sure.." This is bad....
After a few minutes, Karma was fully changed into a plain black long sleeves with a plain black hoodie and some denim pants.
"Come on. Let's go to the park. We have such a nice weather today to be wasted. You in?"
"Y-yeah...."

Author's POV
After arriving at the park, they sat down in a bench near the lake. There were a few minutes of akward silence until Karma finally spoke up.
"Want something to drink? My treat"
Manami just nodded akwardly and looked at her shoes.
'Something's definitely bothering her' Karma thought to himself.
After Karma had left to buy drinks, Manami continued her train of thoughts.
'Should I tell him? When should I? What will happen if I tell him? Will he reciprocate my feelings too? What if he doesn't like me? What if--he just sees me as..... a friend. W-will it ruin our friendship? I don't want that to happen.... but-
She sighed to herself and close her eyes.
*flashback*
After talking with Akari, she heard her phone ring.
[Beep-bee-beepbeep-bop-bop2×]
"Hey Nami-chan ~ how are ya? Wanna hang out? I'm a little bit lonely right now😣"
👓 Sorry Rio-chan...I can't. I have plans with Karma already..😅
👱 Really? He asked you out? On a date?
👓 No, you silly! Hahaha... he doesn't see me in that way...
👱 Okuda Manami, denser than Karasuma-sensei. Denser than all kinds of dense liquids or whatever. Are you really that dense? Don't you see that he's head-over-heels for you? Haven't you felt all those hints he gave you?
👓 Rio-chan... that's impossible... why would a guy like him..... like me?
👱 Manami, aside from Nagisa, I'm one of Karma's bestfriends. I know him well. And you are also my bestfriend. I know you very well. I can read you like an open book my dear. I'm 1000000% that you like him.
👓 Ok.... I like him... but.. what if he doesn't like me? What if he doesn't see me in that way? I'll..... it will just result in severing our friendship right? I don't want that!!

Manami snapped out of her deep thoughts when something warm made contact with her nose. She jumped a bit and blushed multiple shades of red - Karma's face was only inches apart from her, the vanilla coffee can seperating their faces.
