Karma, Manami, Nagisa, and Kayano were walking down the hallways of Tokyo University, searching for a certain blonde girl who went ahead of them because of excitement. They finally saw her next to a strawberry blonde male, aka Asano near their designated entrance exam room.
"Asano- kun?"
"Heh~ why are you here Mr. Smarty pants~?" Karma asked, knowing that he could get in at a much higher-level university than the current one they were in.
"Tch, he said he wants to keep challenging you academically and keep beating you" Rio snickered
"Yeah, so prepare for your demise"
"I won't, because that would never happen"
"Oh really?" Asano took out his phone, showing Karma in a maid outfit.
The redhead got embarrassed and kicked the phone out of Asano's grip, slamming the poor thing on the wall.
All of them laughed it out andAsano just shrugged it off
"Looks like I'll need to buy a new phone later" he said, eying the smashed phone at the floor.
It has been 3 weeks since they graduated highschool, so they decided to take the exam together since they were going to the same school anyway. As they entered, they noticed that the room was quite packed, and only scattered seats were available. Asano, Rio and Kayano had already settled down on the front row. Nagisa pointed out three empty seats. One the back row, and two directly in front of that seat. Nagisa decided to sit on the back row, and Manami on the next row. Karma was about to take the seat when the guy next to it suddenly said that the seat was taken.
"I'm sorry dude, but this is taken. My friend just went to the comfort room and told me to watch his seat for him"
"Ah, sorry. I guess I'll just look for another seat then" Karma looked at Nagisa and Manami, smiling at them as he wished them good luck.
He walked away, looking for a seat and finally found one at the middle row of the left side. He plopped down and faced forward, not caring about his surroundings.
"Ah, hey Akabane-kun. You're going to enter here too?" The person beside him asked. He looked at her and noticed that it was a classmate from Kunugigaoka.
"Yumeno-san? Ah, yeah I am"

"Looks like he found a seat already" Nagisa said, looking at his friend's red fiery hair, sticking out like a sore thumb.
"Mhm. Looks like it" manami smiled.

'Hey, isn't that her?'
'Yeah, it's her'
'She's Akabane-kun's girlfriend right'
'Haha, what? Really? She's small'
'She looks too plain for him'
'I heard that Akabane-kun has never had a girlfriend before, but he has a bad taste in women doesn't he?'
Manami heard murmurs from her left side and from behind. She felt uneasy and breathed in sharply, as she felt a slight pain in her chest as she heard some insults about her. 'Some of his fangirls are here too huh' She looked down and twidled with her fingers to atleast lower the uneasiness. Nagisa noticed this and put a hand on her shoulder.
"Manami-san. Don't let them get to you. We have an exam to finish"
Manami looked at Nagisa and stoped twidling with her fingers. He flashed her a reassuring smile. She let the tension in her chest die down as she smiled back at him.
"Thankyou Nagisa-kun"
''It's really nice to have a friend like Nagisa-kun at times like this'' thought as she sighed in relief.
