"Hey. They were out of Mint Chocolate so I got -" I began as I entered my apartment, carring a plastic bag with two tubs of ice cream and a bottle of chocolate syrup.
I expected to find Sianne perched on the couch, watching Krank It Up but the apartment living room was empty.
I shrugged. She just went to the toilet, that's all. I waited for 10 minutes, before getting up and searching for Sianne. No such luck. That was when I noticed a green Post-It note on the dining table.
My mum called me. I had to go home right away. Sorry for making you spend the money.

I shrugged and discarded the note. I opened the door to Joanne's room only to find it empty. No Joanne, no Sianne. Is everybody avoiding me?
My heart griped. Could Joanne be? Did Sianne hurt her? I shook off the thought. Sianne didn't even know Joanne was living here.
I frantically fished out my phone from my Gucu handbag and texted Joanne, my fingers shaking.
Abigail_ : Jo, where r u?
Jo_anne: Warning : The dark horse has kidnapped her. Tell Brandon if he ever wants to see Joanne again, he's gonna have to pay a hefty sum of $80 grand!
Abigail_: Is that u Sianne?
Jo_anne: No! It's the dangerous Dark Horse

I sighed. I texted Sianne.
Abigail_: S, where r u?!
Si-anne20: I'm at home, duh!
Abigail_: U sure?
Si-anne20: Why wld I even lie?
Hmm...If Sianne claimed to be at home, I was just going to have to check.
Abigail_: Uh, is this Sianne's mum?
SherellJ: Yes, Abigail. Is anything the matter? How's your Girl's Night Out going?
Abigail_: What Girl's Night Out?
SherellJ: Well, Sianne said that you, she, and a few other girls are going on a Girl's Night Out Shopping Trip.
Abigail_: There was no Girl's Night Out. Sianne made that up!
SherellJ: Why on earth would she do that?!
Abigail_: Never mind. Is Sianne home?
SherellJ: No...
Abigail_: Never mind...thanks
