Joanne Belle Kameron

Just another ordinary day, I thought, looking out the rain-streaked window.

We were stuck indoors thanks to the rain. Brandon had disappeared into the kitchen, leaving me alone in the room.

Brandon came back a few minutes later with a few bottles of Coke and two packs of Partee Lollies.

"Let's play Truth or Dare," he said with a smirk.

"Sure. But what's with the food?"

  "Snacks," he replied simply.

  I nodded. "You go first!"

"Okay. Truth or Dare?" he asked, munching on a Strawberry Lolly.

"Um....Truth," I replied. I was never one to pick Dare.

He thought about it for a moment. "Would you marry me if you got the chance?" he asked me finally.

I stared at him, considering my options. "Yes."

  "Awesome," he said.

"Okay, my turn," I said, sipping my glass of Coke. "Truth or Dare?"

"Dare - of course," he said.

"I dare you to prank call Elizabeth and pretend like you're firing her," I said.

He stared at me, like he was shocked someone in a white, Sent from Heaven dress was giving him a serious dare.

He picked up the phone and dialed a number. "Hello? Elizabeth? You're fired." He quickly ended the call.

My jaw dropped. "Really? No, you're lying. You wouldn't dare!"

He shot me a sly grin. "You know me so well," he said sarcastically.

I smacked him lightly on the head.

~A few hours later~

I looked at the clock. 11:35pm. I yawned and stretched. "It's getting late. Let's get to bed."
