Eleven (Pt. One)

People have never understood my obsession with movies. I LOVE movies, which happens to be yet another thing I have in common with a certain curly-haired, amber-eyed man. But I digress. Movies, they are a staple in my life. So much so, that I multi-task better when I am watching one. Don't ask how this is possible, but it is. Trust me. And no one other than Kaiden seems to understand this.

Take his own sister for example who, at present, is trying to turn off the T.V while Beauty and the Beast is playing. I know, I know, how dare she right?

"Lia! Dammit, give me that remote!" She charges at me, but I run to the coffee table. She grunts in annoyance. "Really? The coffee table? You do realize I can just climb over this stupid thing right?"

I laugh, "Yeah, and then you're brother will get back at you for ruining his furniture." I hold the remote out tauntingly.

"Lia, we only have three hours to get you ready for the Introduction ceremony!"

In case you were wondering, yes, tonight is the Introduction. After I came to on Monday, Kaiden let the pack know that the ceremony would be held on Saturday--Today. The Introduction ceremony will basically present me to the pack, and I was promised that it would be quick and easy. All I have to do is read a few versus then bam, a dinner party with the pack. The only tough part about this was the fact that I couldn't see Kaiden until today. He left Thursday night, because it's important that the pair stay away for at least 48 hours. Much like an engaged couple during the wedding.

My thoughts are pushed aside as I am tackled to the ground.

This is the shit that happens when you let your guard down, I think to myself as I hit the ground with an oomph.

Kaiden, your sister is trying to kill me.

Not a minute later his laugh echos in my head, Marina, play nice.

She gaps, "You tattled?!"

Oh yeah, this mindlink stuff is the shit. Kaiden and Marina have been helping me expand my mindlink abilities. And now I'm reaping the benefits.

"You didn't let me watch the part where Belle and Adam dance to, Beauty and the Beast!!! Mari, you left me no choice." I state as she helps me up off the ground.

She pretend glares at me while her voice comes to life in my mind, Kaiden, we need to get her ready!! But she wants to sit and watch movies! I'm tryna help out here.

I laugh yet again and set the remote down on the counter as Kaiden speaks. Uhhh...why not get ready while watching the movie?

See! Thank you, Kaiden. I smile triumphantly at Marina who rolls her eyes.

No problem sweet pea. I blush.

Marina groans and puts her face in her hands. "Oh brother. Fine, you win. Stay here and I'll get the dress and my make up box."

As she walks away to her room, I close her out of the three way connection. Concentrating on just Kaiden and I. Kaiden, what if the pack doesn't like me? What if I don't make a good Luna?

A sigh stirs in my head, Don't think that. They will love you. Just be confident, and the rest will fall naturally. Okay, sweet pea?

Yeah. I drop down on the couch when he speaks again.

I can't wait to see you. Tate, Simon, and Declan have been driving me crazy here.

I laugh, Declan is there too? Tell the boys I said hi. Oh, and I can't wait to see you either.
