I learned a lot about Kaiden during breakfast yesterday. Like how he is the oldest of three (He is 26, Marina 24, and Eben 25). Also, he loves the color gray, he is mildly superstitious, and wanted to be a heart surgeon when he was younger. I was surprised to hear that he and Eben used to be really close, but when I asked what happened he brushed it aside with a question of his own. Same thing happened when I asked about his mother and father. Seemed like family other than Marina were off topic for him.

Mental note: Snab the answers from Marina ASAP.

He gave in just enough and explained a bit about what is going on with the rouges. Apparently, these rouges are being run by this wolf who hates anyone not like them. This includes humans, which is why Kaiden didn't want to tell me anything. He didn't want me to worry. Which is sweet I guess, can't be mad at him for that.

Anyway, today is Saturday, a day before the Introduction. Sounds intimidating right? Kaiden explained to me yesterday that it's basically introducing me to the pack as their Luna, which I find really endearing and respectful.

Setting my cup of coffee down on the nightstand next to my bed, I bite at my nails, what if the pack doesn't like me? Will I get kicked out? Would I have to leave Kaiden?

I sit on my bed, thinking of all possible worse-case scenarios, when a knock on the door snaps me out of my revere.

Stretching while I walk to the door I wonder who it can be. Doesn't smell like Kaiden... For some reason, the thought of Kaiden ignites a fluttering feeling in the pit of my stomach--different from the typical giddiness and shivers I usually get.

Opening the door I see nothing in front of me. I look to either side, yet see nothing. I was just about to close the door when something on the floor caught my eye. Bending to retrieve what seems to be a polaroid, my breath catches in my throat when I see that it's me from earlier this morning. I'm in a towel looking through clothes in my wardrobe. Turning the picture over there is a small note in sloppy writing;

Kaiden better keep a closer eye, it'd be a shame if anything happened to his human filth of a Luna.

I stand and turn to look out of the large window in the front of my room.

Okay. Think, Amelia.

Do I tell Kaiden? Should I tell Kaiden?

After a twenty minute debate with myself, I conclude that maybe telling Kaiden is the best thing to do. I hurriedly make my way to his office, and have a mini panic attack when I see it's empty. Sighing and releasing a silent curse I turn into a chest with an omph.

Looking up I see Declan's familiar flaming hair. "Declan!"

He steps back, "Amelia!?" he yells back with a face which makes me laugh. Wait, Amelia, seriously no time for laughs!!

"Declan, where is Kaiden?" I ask exasperated.

He gives me a deadpanned look. "Mindlink him?"

I roll my eyes, "Okay, I realize that I could do that now, but I have you here already so tell me."

"In his room. Literally the room. In front of yours."

How did I not know...Later, I'll ask later. With a quick thanks over my shoulders I leave Declan and head to Kaiden. When I reach his door, I'm so in a hurry I pull a Sheldon. Knock knock knock, "Kaiden." Knock knock knock, "Kaiden." Knock kno-

"Amelia, what do you need sweet pea?" Kaiden opens, looking ravishing in black slacks and a partially buttoned white dress shirt. Curly brown hair messliy done back like I like it, amber eyes bright with life making my insides flutter, the feeling in my stomach grows stronger, a warmness spreading throughout. I breath in his scent.
