I grimace as my body is suddenly exposed to cold air. I looked up, throwing a pillow at my brother.
"Get up." He said bluntly.
I tried a pathetic attempt to reach back for the covers, but Alex only held it back.
"You're going to be late, school starts in an hour. Get dressed."
I tried my hardest not to curse him. He always did this. Every freaking morning. Maybe I should just lock my room door. I flipped him off and turned over, bringing my knees to my chest to obtain warmth. I could practically feel Alex's eyes on me but I ignored him. He left the room and as his footsteps faded away, I smiled in triumph. I nuzzled my head deeper into the pillow before slowly drifting off again. Shortly after, loud thumping of steps erupted in my room. Next thing I know, a wooden spoon and a pan are being mashed together. The noise rang in my ears, practically deafening me. I quickly rose from my bed to see Alex clanging the pan and wooden spoon together. He smirked and began to yell at the top of his lungs.
"Lil sis, OOHHHHHHH. Don't you know you look UGLY WHEN YOU WAKE UP!
Giiiiiiirl you should put on some MAKEUP! OOOHHHH." He continued to holler.
I clenched my jaw and gave him a stare that would usually make any person contemplate life.
His smirk grew to a grin and he began to stomp his feet. I walked over to him, snatching the wooden spoon and pan from him in the process. He stopped and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Nice to see you've woke up little sis. How was your sleep?" The nerve of this guy. I thought.
"Leave so I can change." I seethed.
He left my room but not before yelling: "I'm leaving in 20 minutes!"
I rolled my eyes and quickly took a shower. I lazily brushed my teeth and threw on something comfortable. Jeans and a huge hoodie. A smile greeted my lips as I looked in the mirror. Most girls obsess over their clothing. I on the other hand like to feel comfortable and still look cute. Feel bad for the stuck-up beauty gurus. I didn't even need makeup. I layered on some lip gloss before popping a minty gum into my mouth. Just beautiful.
