the first day of summer vacation. the day. my day. moving day.
our stuff was already packed in a truck and on the way to los angeles 2 days ago. all we had left was our suitcases and carry on bags with a few outfits and necessary toiletries. our flight left in 3 hours so we had just enough time to say goodbye to our families and friends in virginia before we headed to the airport to depart on our new journey.
our immediate families were all at sofia's house. we were saying goodbye and my mom was crying. she had been for the past week. her last baby leaving home. [let's pretend corbyn doesn't have any siblings except riley] my brother had left last year to go start his music career. my mom was proud of us but you know, she didn't want us to leave.
my two best friends and i are moving to los angeles, california to start our modeling careers. all three of us got signed to zarzar modeling agency. im so excited to start a new leaf and im pretty sure sofia and emma are also.
after we finished our goodbyes, the girls and i went up to sofia's room to change and grab our bags before leaving for the airport.

emma ordered an uber from sofia's house to dulles international airport which is where our flight left from. we checked our suitcases and headed to our gate. we all had tsa pre check, so security wasn't a big problem. we still had 45 minutes before our plane boarded so we each grabbed a snack and a drink at starbucks along with a water bottle for the plane ride. after a while of talking about things we were excited to do in la, a voice came over the intercom.
