"Hi Mavis, I'm Penelope!" A perky young blonde spoke as she stood in the doorway of Spencer's apartment. Mavis shyly waved to the young woman. "Spencer should have mentioned I was going to come by while he was gone." Mavis just nodded.

"Shouldn't you be doing your job?" Mavis questioned softly. She didn't understand why she was there instead of helping the FBI catch a killer.

"That's why they have laptops silly! Now come on, we're going to have a day of pampering!" Penelope spoke with a large grin. Mavis shrugged and grabbed her purse, walking out of the apartment with her. She closed the door behind her, locking it up with the key his neighbor had made for her, and then they were off.

Hours later they were getting a facial while their toes were being done, and they were sipping on fruit smoothies enjoying themselves. Penelope took the cucumbers from her eyes and looked over at Mavis who was laying comfortably on the table. Mavis hadn't felt so comfortable and relaxed since before she was taken. "Can I ask you something?" Penelope's voice rang out. Mavis turned her head to look at the other woman. She nodded slightly.

"What made you open up to Reid?" She asked softly. She didn't want to pry into her life more than she had already done digitally so the team could know more about the girl that had been taken.

Mavis shrugged and took a cucumber that she placed on her shoulder and bit into it. "He..." she started but soon stopped since she tried to find the words to say. "He...was gentle. He was the only one who actually showed sincerity when it came to asking me questions about everything and he was the only one who was really nice to me. He let me shower instead of letting me stew in blood that wasn't even mine." Mavis let out a small chuckle at the last part. What Spencer did for her seemed so minute, but it meant everything to her. No guy had ever shown an interest in her like he had.

"Well I can tell you he quite fancies you. He made sure I checked up on you." Garcia spoke with a wink. Mavis put the last bit of the cucumber in her mouth with an eye roll.

"Please don't tell me he's already protective." Mavis spoke softly as she kept her eyes on Garcia. She giggled softly and nodded at Mavis' statement.

"Oh trust me, sweetie. He came back to the station with the biggest grin on his face the other day." Garcia snickered. Mavis rolled her eyes once more as she bit into the other cucumber. "What did you do to him in that short amount of time?" Garcia teased.

"Nothing!" Mavis laughed. "I was just walking around his place in nothing but his dress shirt and I guess I was reading his favorite book." She spoke the last part softly. "He reads a lot, doesn't he?" She questioned.

"20,000 words per minute, my dear." Garcia spoke. She held up her drink and wrapped her pink lips around her straw, taking a sip. "Hush time now." She spoke as she closed her eyes and relaxed as a woman massaged her legs.

Only a few short hours later they were at lunch. Penelope was telling Mavis more about Spencer and how he gets when it comes to certain cases, especially with children. Penelope's phone started to ring and she smiled at the contact. She pulled out her laptop and turned it on. "What is it boy wonder?" Penelope spoke into the phone.

Mavis smiled softly at the name she just called Reid. "Boy wonder." Mavis snickered softly. It was a cute nickname and appropriately named. Penelope then jotted down a bunch of things on her napkin and nodded.

"Garcia?" Reid spoke into the phone.

"Yes, my love?" She spoke as her fingers started to glide along the keyboard to try and find the information he needed without being on her super fancy high tech computer.

"Is Mavis with you?" He asked quietly. He was trying to be as discreet as he possibly could with the rest of the team lingering around him.

"She is." She spoke. She looked over at Mavis who was pulling a piece of bread apart bit by bit and eating it.

"How's she doing?" He asked. He was curious. He didn't even want to leave her alone, but he couldn't imagine the ridicule he'd get from Morgan for taking a few days off to make sure she was okay.

"She's doing very well. I think her only problem today is too much relaxation and not enough alcohol." Garcia teased. Mavis looked over at her and rose an eyebrow. Penelope winked at her and Mavis rolled her eyes.

"Thanks Garcia." Reid spoke before he hung up. Penelope reached down and grabbed a pad of paper from her purse and started to jot down all the information the team needed.

"Boy wonder?" Mavis questioned with a small smirk. Penelope giggled and nodded.

"Or boy genius. Whichever you prefer." Penelope spoke. Mavis knew she could get really close to Penelope if she really wanted to. She enjoyed her company. She stopped thinking about everything in the world that could go wrong while she was with her. She radiated happiness and she loved it.
