Spencer had taken a few days off from work so he and Mavis could go to a French film festival all weekend. They were showing a bunch of his favorite movies that he's adored since he's been little. She went with him to learn a little more about him. She found out that he actually spoke French. When they got home that night, Mavis hung up her purse and put her sweater on the hook as well. Spencer locked up the apartment and set his keys down on the table. She moved to the small opening between the couch and the door and held out her hands. "Dance with me, Spencer." She spoke with a smile. He placed his hands in hers and brought her body towards him. He twirled her around and she giggled softly before moving to him. "Do you know how to dance?" She asked as she looked up at him.

He nodded. "I actually do know how to dance." He spoke before he grabbed her cheeks in his hands and pressed his lips to hers. She had her hands on his arms and he pulled away only to pick her up off of the floor. He held her bridal style as he carried her to his room. She had her face buried in the crook of his neck, gently nibbling on the skin. He let out a small chuckle as he placed her on the bed. She moved so she was sitting up in his bed. Her dress was pushed almost all the way up her thighs. He undid his necktie so it wasn't so tight around his neck. He moved on the bed in front of her, crossing his legs under him as well. "You're so beautiful." He spoke as he pushed her stray hair behind her ear. She shook her head. "Why do you think that?" He asked softly. She moved her hands so her scars were noticeable.

"These ugly fuckers and the ones everywhere else." She mumbled. She kept her gaze away from him, her head dipping down. He moved his hand so his fingers curled around her chin. He lifted her chin and she kept her gaze away from him still.

"Baby..." he spoke softly as he looked at her. "You'll always be beautiful to me. I love those scars." He spoke. She looked at him, her brow slightly furrowed. He laughed and continued to talk. "They define you. They show where you've been and where you will go. You'll forever be the most gorgeous person on the entire planet, no matter how many scars you have." He spoke to her before he gently placed his lips against hers. She kissed him back longingly. She moved so she was sitting in his lap, her legs wrapped around his waist. Her arms slipped around his neck and her fingers found themselves tangled in the mop he calls hair. His arms came around her waist as their lips slowly moved together in sync.

She pulled away from him, her forehead rested against his. She kept her eyes closed. "I'm ready..." she spoke out with a heavy breath. He nodded and connected their lips once again. He placed his hand on the middle of her back and slowly laid her back. He hovered his body over hers as she undid his tie and tossed it to the floor. She undid his shirt slowly as he kissed her neck. She took that off without a hitch. She looked over his back and swallowed back harshly. She couldn't believe she was going through with this.

It wasn't too much later when he fell beside her. Their chests rising and falling quickly. Spencer moved one arm so it was over his head and the other across his stomach. Mavis laid there still with her hands over her face. She quickly moved her legs up so they were bent and her feet were flat against the sheets. Spencer moved so some of the sheets covered his pelvic area before turning to look at Mavis. Her chest was rising and falling quicker and it looked like she was crying. "Mavis..." he spoke out softly. She shook her head before climbing off of the bed. She grabbed his dress shirt and threw that over her body before walking to the bathroom. She closed the door behind her and buttoned up his shirt midway.

He climbed off of his bed and slipped on his boxers before walking over to the bathroom. He knocked on the door and she told him to go away. "Mavis you can talk to me." He spoke through the door. She had her back pressed against the wall and tears were streaming down her face. She wasn't ready. She thought she was, but she wasn't.

Spencer reached down and slowly turned the door knob to open the door. He moved his back from the wall and slowly stepped inside the bathroom. She looked away from him even as he stood right in front of her. "I'm sorry..." he spoke softly to her, opening his arms. She moved into his arms and he wrapped his arms around her. His embrace always comforted her. She rested her head on his chest as she cried against it. Her arms came around his neck and she held herself close.

"Please don't be sorry." She whispered against his skin. "It's not your fault." She whispered once more. He started to rub her back as he held her body close to his.

"I can't help but to feel like it is." He spoke softly.

"I thought I was okay to do this." She spoke. Spencer lowered his head so he could press a gentle kiss to his crying girlfriends head.

"I just thought you were crying because I sucked in bed." He teased. She pulled away from him and gently smacked his chest. She sniffled as she breathily laughed at him.

"Shut up. You weren't the worst I've ever had." She spoke to him, looking away from his gaze.

"But I wasn't the best?" He questioned curiously. She looked up at him and furrowed her brow.

"Definitely the most passionate." She spoke. He rolled his eyes and picked her up by her thighs. She wrapped her legs around his waist and buried her face in the crook of his neck again. He walked them to his room once more before laying her down on his bed. He grabbed her a pair of her boxers and she slipped them on before undoing his dress shirt, tossing it back onto the floor. He climbed in the bed next to her and she snuggled up to his side. He held her tightly against him and kissed the top of her head.

"How did you become the only good thing in my life?" She asked as she closed her eyes. He shrugged.

"By chance." He spoke to her softly. It wasn't long until her breathing slowed down and became shallow. He knew she was asleep against him. He pushed her hair behind her ear and whispered softly to her. "I love you, Mavis..."
