Chapter 10

Lucas-

I put my clothes on and got ready. After that phone call last night I am so eager to see Leah. Reighn and Riley doesn't know what going on. They don't need to to. So I shall have it be a surprise.

I sat down on the bed. I started putting on my shoes. Riley appear on my side.

"Baby?" She asks yawning.

"Where are you going?" She sits up putting her robe on. Even though I prefer it off. Get what I mean.

"Get dressed we're leaving--"

"Bu--"

"No questions. Just get ready."

I get up and walk to Reighn's room. I knock.

"Hmm?"

"Get dressed meet us downstairs."

"Yes, Daddy."

Afterwards I fixed up a small simple breakfast. Something we all can eat on the road because I don't want to wait.

Everyone was dressed and was ready to head out.

"Why do we have to leave so early, where are we going?" Reighn asked.

I ignored her and open the door. Alright get in the car. I put the key in and locked the door.

I walked over to the car. " I thought I said get in."

"You did but it's locked." Riley said dully.

I unlocked it and we all got in. I could feel the tension because they're upset.

Just because I'm an alpha doesn't mean I don't have feeling too. I miss Leah. I still can't believe shes gone. But now there's hope she will be safe. I promise I will do way better to keep my family, my pack, myself safe.

I kept my eyes on the road as Riley shifted uncomfortably in her seat.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing. Umm I need music."

She turned the radio on and tuned it to find a song.

"Mmm nevermind." She said.

I looked in the rearview mirror and looked at Reighn. She was sleeping. I looked to the other side of her. Where Leah used to  sit.

We arrived at the border of Twilight Fang Pack. A pack member greeted us. I raised my window down.

" Alpha Lucas, Luna Riley ." He  greeted.

"Welcome to Eastern Howl Heights Pack. I'm the beta, William."

He turned around and pointed. "There is where you can park." He explained.

After I parked we all got out. Then William showed us to the pack house. Reagan smiled as she saw us.

"Alpha Lucas I'm so glad you came. I mean why wouldn't you not?"

I chuckled, "Exactly"

Riley cleared her throat.

"Excuse me I'm sorry, seriously. Hello Luna Riley. I always wanted to meet you. I heard your story."

"Story?" She asked.

"Yeah, the way you became a Luna. Escaping, fighting, you know?"

"Oh. Nice to meet you."

"Come on we need to eat." Reagan says while ushering us inside.

Inside was nicely decored. From the ceilings to the floor. We walked down the hall as if we were touring a museum. We passed multiple rooms to get to the kitchen.

We sit down and take our seats. The table was nicely set. The breakfast looked delicious.

Reagan took her seat. One was empty next to her. Then we heard giggles coming from the stairs.

Alpha Ryan came down and sat right next to Reagan. Leah came down along with their son. She looked well as ever.

She stopped laughing and burst into tears.

"Mom! Dad!" She sobbed.

We got up and hugged her.
"Oh my Goddess! Leah!" Riley cried out.

We all let go."Wait wheres Reighn?"

Reighn ran up to Leah they hugged and cried.

"Look."
Reighn showed Leah a bracelet.

"You said that you didn't want it. "

"I know but." She stopped due to Leah embracing her.

"I missed you guys." The happiness in her eyes clearly showed it. Then quickly replaced by fear.

"What happens if they find me again?!" She sobbed.

"I don't want to go back!" She yelled.

"Lee it okay we got you. You will be safe as long as we stick together. Me and your father will make sure of that." Riley cooed as she rubbed Leah's back.

"And you and Reighn will start training too. So you can defend yourselves." I added.

"It's about time." Reighn muttered.

"It's was nice seeing you Reagan, Ryan."

"You too."

I unlocked the door and took off my jacket. Leah looked around taking in her surroundings. Emily and Noah say on the couch patiently.

Emily shot up as she spotted Leah. She had a tear falling from her cheek.

"Leah!?" She exclaimed.

So they caught up and everything yada yada yada.

"Get some rest girls training starts tomorrow." I explain.
