P A R T 10

A   F E W   W E E K S   L A T E R

T H E two of you sat by the window looking out into the infinite space before you. This had been your spot since you were younger. 

With everything that had happened, you hadn't made your way back here but now you sat here with him as everyone else slept. You both looked out in silence. The two of you had missed doing this. You didn't need to say anything, you simply needed to be together.

You sat with your back against his chest, and he wrapped his arms around you tightly occasionally placing kisses along your jaw until you turned to face him. He would place a hand on your cheek and gently run his thumb over your soft skin. His lips would then find yours. 

Looking out, you thought about your conversation with Bellamy before everything happened. You thought about what life on Earth might have been like with him and your families. But that would never be possible and it brought you sadness to think of what could've been.

You ran your fingers over Bellamy's arm which was still wrapped around you. He was doing much better. He smiled more often and he was more at ease. A lot of it had to do with the fact that he was able to hear from Octavia, and you were happy you could help provide the line of communication. 

"I love you, [y/n]." he whispered in your ear.

You turned to face him. "I love you, too." 

He smiles and places his hand around the back of your neck before leaning in to kiss you and his hand gets tangled in your hair. After a while, you pull away from him. "I think it's time to go back to the room." you say breathlessly with a smirk.

"I think so, too." he says with a smile before he stands up, pulling you up with him.
