* (Y/N)'s POV *

When school ended, we left to get ready for prom. Both me and Gerard thought we would have to change at school, but we decided not to.

I arrived at my house and layed out my black and red dress. I took a quick shower, and did my hair. I put on a bit of mascara and eyeliner, and a bit of nude lipstick.

I slip on my dress and re-did my hair because whilst putting the dress on, it messed up my hair.

After that, I slipped on my matching black shoes and waited for Erica to arrive.

I hear a knock on my door, and I open it up to see Erica, in her lavender gown she picked at the mall. She gasped as soon as she layed eyes on me.

"YOU'RE SO PRETTYYYYY!" She squealed, jumping around. "Just wait until Gee gets here. He's gonna love it!" Erica smiled.

"I'm not gonna ruin that moment for you. I'll meet you there, kay?" Erica asked. "But you literally just got here." I laughed. "I just wanted to see you before anyone else did." Erica smiled.

"Well alright, see you there." I smiled, before shutting the door. I took this precious time to look at the mirror. I usually look like trash, but...I actually looked pretty good in this dress!

I hear a faint knock on my door a few minutes later, and I strut over to answer it. It was Gerard.

He had some sort of all black suit with a red tie. And was he....wearing makeup? "Wow..." He muttered, slowley looking up and down at me. "I know, I look like garbage. But let's talk about you for a second." I laughed.

"Are you wearing makeup?" I smiled. "Maybe. Maybe not." He pouted. "But like....we're practically wearing the same color scheme here. How weird." I laughed. "Very. Let's talk about you now. You...look....beautiful, in that dress." Gerard smiled sweetly.

"I-I mean, you look beautiful all the time, but like, you look more beautiful today, I guess??" He stuttered. I laughed and grabbed his hand.

"Might I say you look quite ravishing tonight as well." I laughed. "Why thank you, m'lady. Come now, we must make our way to prom and make everyone jealous." Gerard spoke.

"Was that your goal from the start?" I laughed. "Of course not." He smiled. We had to walk all the way there because we didnt have anyone to take us.

We spotted Frank and Erica walking together down the road. "Lay low, don't let them see you." I whispered, laying my head low. Gerard laughed and did the same.

"Oh shit it's (Y/N) and Gee....and they're wearing matching outfits that's adorable!!!" Frank screamed. "Hey (Y/N)! Nice dress there!" Frank complimented. I smiled and nodded, and continued walking.

We arrived at the school, and saw Mikey and Ray waiting for us at the entrance. "Awww you guys are matching!" Ray squealed. "That's too adorable for my emo head to comprehend." Mikey laughed.

"Guys shut the fuck up about us and go the fuck inside." I laughed, pointing to the entrance. They all nodded and walked inside.

The entire place was dimly lit, and seemed to have a red hue to the place. Everyone was either on the dance floor, or by the punch bowl.

"Guys, hold on a second." Frank snickered, before sprinting over to the punch bowl when it was less crowded. He pulled out a tiny flask of Vodka and poured some into the punch.

Frank spiked the punch.

God dammit.

"Do you...wanna dance?" Gerard asked, holding his hand out for me. "Sure." I smiled, taking his hand as he led me to the dance floor.

Slow music was playing, and besides the music, the entire room was surprisingly silent. Exept for a few voices here and there.

Gerard pulled our hands apart, and rested his on my hips. I could feel my cheeks turning a slight shade of pink, as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

I had no idea how to dance, so I just went with what Gee was doing. I seemed to be getting the hang of it. "Hey, you're good at this." Gerard smirked.

"Lies." I replied. "Don't say that, you're doing great." He smiled. "I've never really danced before." I admitted. "It's okay. Neither have I." Gerard laughed.

"You look beautiful." Gerard smiled. "Thanks." I replied, my blush growing larger on my face. "No really, that dress really brings out your eyes." He smiled awkwardly.

"This dress kinda...spoke to me, you know? Like I just saw it and knew right away it was perfect." I smiled. "A perfect dress for a perfect girl." Gerard smiled, pulling me closer.

"I'm not perfect." I sighed. "You're right. Because there is no perfect. But your the damn closest thing to perfect I've ever seen." He muttered. "I doubt that's accurate." I said, giving a weak laugh.

"Listen here, stop saying that stupid shit. It's not true. I don't know who told you these things but whoever did is a fucking lying asshole." Gerard ranted. I was kinda shocked at the fact he raised his voice at me, but I didn't say anything about it.

"Sorry." Gerard apologized. "It's okay. You're right." I smiled. "Thanks for saying that." Gerard replied. We sat in silence (ayy) for another few minutes, before Gerard lifted my chin up so I wasn't looking down anymore.

He stared into my eyes for a second, before pulling me into a passionate kiss. He placed his hand on my back whilst my hands stayed in the same place.

I could hear faint screaming and the sound of cameras going off, but I payed no attention to it. After a few seconds, Gerard pulled away.

"I love you." He spoke.

"I love you too." I smiled.
