"Of course I will." I smiled. Gerard's smile widened so much it looked like his face muscles were in so much pain.
He ran up to me and wrapped his arms around me tightly. It was raining like hell, but I could tell that Gerard has started crying.
"Gee! Are you okay? What's wrong?" I asked. "It's just, I thought you'd say no." He smiled. "Why would I ever do that?" I asked.
"Cause I'm not attractive, I'm fat, I'm constantly being bullied, I'm just embarrassing to be around..." He sobbed. "You and I both know all of that is not true." I said.
"You're the most attractive guy I've ever seen. And if you're not attractive, than what the hell is?" I asked. "You're wonderful....I don't deserve you..." Gerard muttered.
"Than how am I still here?" I smiled. He wiped his tears and kept me in his arms. "If you said no, I probably wouldve jumped right off this roof." Gerard laughed.
"Well I didn't." I smiled. "I know. And I'm glad you said yes. Because I love you, and this ring was fucking expensive so you better fucking take it." Gerard laughed, lightly grabbing my hand.
He slid the small ring onto my finger and we stood on the roof as it poured, in a happy silence.
