3.4| Figuring out

King P.O.V.

It was fun watching Soonyoung being al scared and confused during the task. The most fun was during the hallucination. He was screaming, crying and yelling. He was sweeping his arms trough the air and now and then they hit a rock. He was so confused when he "woke up"

This hallucination was made to exhaust him. When I was done with him he was supposed to be so tired he couldn't move for 5 hours but he has more strength than I could think of. The last thing I expected, was that he would complete this task. I did this task before with some other dude. He came for my other daughter but he didn't make it to the end. When you're that weak after the hallucination and you bleed a lot... but Soonyoung did it, he fought till the end and that's something I always respected.

There was only one thing I actually didn't wanted to see. When he came out of the forest he saw Kyungmi arriving and he kissed her. I know he completed the task so he is actually allowed but still, it doesn't feel right...

Hoshi P.O.V.

'I kissed her for the second time!' I think. But, who cares. Actually, I completed the task so I am allowed to do it.

When I break the kiss, I'm starting to get shy. I quickly run away, first things first. I need to let the King know, I completed the task. He probably already knows because of the camera, but still.

As soon as I knocked on the door I start to feel nervous. I don't know why because I completed all the tasks. He can't say a thing about that, I have nothing to fear. 'Keep telling yourself that.'

'Come in!' I hear. I open the door walking to the desk in the middle of the room. The King isn't facing me. He stands with his back towards me looking at some books at the bookshelfs behind his desk. As soon as he turns around, I can't see a single emotion on his face.

'You did it.' He says and he smiles at me for the first in a very long time. 'We had a deal so I guess...' He pauses for a while. I feel my hands getting all sweaty. 'Finish your sentences!' '... Kyungmi is yours now. Take good care of her!' This time he smiles warm and widely at me. Tears of happiness are filling my eyes. 'Thanks...' I whisper. The King nods. 'But remember,' he says. 'If you break her heart, I'll break your whole body!' It sounds pretty intimidating but the words can't harm me, I only nod. Then I walk out and go to the nurse. My wounds need to be cleaned first and I need to change clothes!

Kyungmi P.O.V.

I really want to know why Hoshi looked so beaten up. I decide to go to my dad and tell him my doubts. I know he doesn't like him but still, if anything happened he's the person who is most likely to know. Hoshi didn't looked good at all.

'Dad!' I call him while knocking on the door. 'Come in!' I hear. I walk in and sit on the chair opposed him. 'Do you have any idea of why Hoshi looks so bad?' I ask him. 'Hoshi?' He asks confused. Oh, I forgot. My dad calls him by his real name ofcourse. 

'Yes, that's his nickname.' I say. 'Ooh, you mean Soonyoung?' He looks very uncomfortable. 'Yes! Why does he have so many wounds and bruises?' My dad starts to stutter and I think it's a bit suspicious. 'I-I don't k-know. I-I haven't s-seen him in a-a while.' I give him a questioning look. 'You know more about this don't you? You're really bad at lying.' I tell him and I start to feel a little mad. 'Okay, fine, I'll give you an explanation. I needed to test him.' He says nonchalant. 'Test him for what? It doesn't look like you tested him in a proper way!' I'm really mad right now.

'If he was good enough for you ofcourse! I can't just let you have relationship with a guard!' He says it like it is totaly normal. 'And who are you to decide with who I have a relation? How did you tested him? It looks like he fought with some dangerous animal!' I say. 'Well, that was exactly his first task.' I give my dad a suprised look. 'Are you serious? How many tasks were there?' 'Three. The firts task was fighting with a wild wolf. The second task was a list of questions and the last task was just half an hour ago. It was a route trough the darkest part of the forest. He actually hallucinated!' He couldn't hide a small smile. 'You think that is funny!' I yell. 'You have no idea how dangerous that is!' I continue. 'Ofcourse I do. Anyway, I said, if you complete the task, Kyungmi is yours otherwise I fire you and you're not allowed to talk to her anymore. He risked his life for you and completed the tasks. He was just here and I told him you are all his.' I look at him in disbelieve. 'You are crazy... Really crazy.' I say and then I walk out. I immediately go to Hoshi's room to check on him.

'He's not here.' Wonwoo says when I arrive. He is standing infront of the door to Hoshi's bedroom. 'I thought you were home?' I ask him. 'Yes, but Hoshi just called me and said he wanted to see me so, here I am.' He takes his phone out of his pocket and I nod. 'Oh wait, he just sent me a message. He says he is at the hospital ward.' He walks away winking me. 'They have a hospital ward here?' I ask in disbelieve. He simpely nods and I follow him to the ward.

When we arrive I'm the first to enter the room. 'I missed you...' I say while hugging him. I feel he is smiling since he burried his face in my neck. 'I missed you too...' he says. 'I love you.' He adds. Now is it my turn to smile. We stare at eachother.

Suddenly, I hear someone coughing behind us. 'Uhh, guys...' Wonwoo calls us. We turn our head at the same time. 'I'm still here too.' I blush and step away from Hoshi So Wonwoo can go to Hoshi. He gives him a friendly hug and after that a pat on his shoulder.

We talk for a while but then the nurse says we need to go. She thinks Hoshi needs a little bit more rest. Which I can understand seeing his condition.

I stand up from the chair next to the bed but Hoshi stops me. 'Maybe we can have dinner together some time?' He asks. 'That would be great.' I smile and give him a quick peck on the cheek before going out.

Hoshi P.O.V.

I touch my cheek suprised after she left. I'm glad the King accepted me and I'm lucky to have Kyungmi. Really lucky!

Kyungmi P.O.V.

I'm walking trough the halls on my way to my room. Suddenly Minghao comes at me from behind the corner. He shake my arm and yells 'I found him! I found him!' He is so happy and it look quite cute. 'Wow! Keep calm! You almost pull my arm out. Who did you found?' I ask him. He let go of my arm and says 'My brother!' His smile becomes even brighter when he tells it to me. 'That's great! Can I meet him some day?' I ask. I'm very curious because he told me a lot about his brother. 'You already know him!' He says cheerful. 'How can I already know him? You haven't seen him in years but I already met him?' Now is not only his smile wide, his eyes also start to sparkle. 'You can go to you're room. I will search for him, we'll visit you together.' He walks away to sarch for his brother, leaving me speechless behind. 'What the...' I whisper confused and walk away too.

Jun P.O.V.

I'm in my room, doing simply nothing. Just like Wonwoo, Hoshi texted me and here I am! I visited him a few minutes ago but now I have no idea what to do.

Suddenly Minghao storms into my room without knocking. 'You have to come with me! We have to tell Kyungmi!' He is jumping around like he is standing on a trampoline. 'Well, hello to you too.' I say and as soon as he stops jumping, I greet him with a hug. 'I finally have him back...'

Kyungmi P.O.V.

I'm in my room, sitting on my bed. The8 told me not to leave and now I'm kind of bored. Well, just say, I'm really bored. I'm losing my patience. I pick a photobook from the table next to me and look at the pictures.

Then The8 storms into my room, dragging Jun with him. 'Hey, Jun! Did Hoshi texted you to come too?' He doesn't get time to answer my question because Minghao is whining already. 'No! You don't understand.' 'I don't understand?' I ask him suprised. 'Yes, he is my brother!' Everything is silent for a while when he says it. 'Huh? But how?' I did not see this coming.

'Well, after our converstion a few months ago, I went to Jun since you told me I could meet him. After I annoyed him with my talks for a good 3 months I finally found out about him being my brother but I still wasn't sure about it. He changed a lot ofcourse so I couldn't compare him with how I knew him back then.

When you were on your break back at your house, I figured everything out and this is the result!' He points at himself and my guard. I slowly start to clap my hands in excitement.

'He must be the happiest kid in the world right now!'
