Kyungmi is sitting on the couch in her livingroom. She is waiting for her mother to return from the hospital which is actually nearby her house, only 10 minutes or so. She always user to walk pass it when she went to school but she never thought one of her family members would end up there. Unfortunately she was wrong because her mother has been there for over 4 months now.
She can feel the nerves trough her whole body while she hopes the doorbell would ring, she is totally done waiting! She can't take anymore excitement and nervousness, you can see it from her body language: she can't sit still and she keeps on looking out of the window while she plays with the fabric of her shirt.
The noise of the doorbell almost always scares her, especially when everything in the house is silent. Kyungmi gets scared very easilly, it's one of her bad habits and she hates it. The students at her school make a lot of fun about it. Last time they let her scare, was when she was walking through the aula. Someone poked in her back and she dropped her lunch including her drink. Her whole uniform was completely ruined and she had to go back home to put on some new clothes. Everyone made fun of her for the next month. She can clearly remember that moment because she almost bursted into tears.
Kyungmi is an only child and lives in a small house together with her mother. They're not very rich but that doesn't matter to her. She's got everything she needs and she can go to school. They were happy together until her mother got sick, very sick. She had to go to the hospital immediately and there was no time for a goodbye. The doctors told Kyungmi, that her mother might never recover from her illness but Kyungmi tries to stays hopeful. Everyday when she wakes up, she makes sure to send her mother a text. Together with her best friend Sunhee, she went to collect money because she could never afford the expensive surgerys of her mother on her own.
Sunhee means a lot to Kyungmi. Without her she would be nothing more or less than a complete mess. She always comforts her, usually when she has one of her attacks. During these attacks, she totally had no hope, no joy, no happy moments, nothing. But her friend was always there for her to cheer her up and make her happy again by doing the most sweetest things for her.
That's basicly how she lives, even while her mother is in the hospital. But she tries stays calm, she'll get there. There are still so much things waiting for her...
