A quick glance from across the street was enough to show Oliver just how difficult getting to Sanderson was going to be. Several police vehicles were stationed directly outside the hospital while more units were located nearby and acting as perimeter patrol. The ledge of the roof that Oliver stood on overlooked the hospital, allowing him to survey the area before moving in.

"I'm connected to the hospital security system and it's worse than we imagined." Felicity began over the comm.

"Enlighten me." Oliver replied.

"We're counting twenty three officers on the sixth floor where Sanderson is, as well as six patrolling hospital security guards. They've temporarily evacuated all other patients and unnecessary staff from that floor. Looks like a SWAT team on standby the floor above, and another team on call in the area." Felicity explained, hoping her new info would change Oliver's mind.

"You're gonna need backup." Diggle began as he stood to gather his gear.

"No. We can't risk it. I'll move in fast, just feed me info." Oliver ordered as he moved along the ledge and to a better position.

"This is insane. Please don't do this." Felicity pleaded, avoiding thoughts of what could happen if things went wrong.

"Trust me." Oliver said as he fired a grappling arrow into the hospital and shot off toward it.
The sound of liquid dispensing into a mug pulled a passing officer from the hall into the nearby room. The small waiting room was empty for the exception of a row of chairs and couches, complete with one table. The officer cautiously entered the room and examined the active coffee brewer, unsure who had turned it on. The man turned off the machine and checked the full mug, confused to see that the contents were simply heated water. A quick blur caught the officer's attention as Oliver shot up behind the man and wrapped his arm around his neck. The officer struggled at first, battling against the Green Arrow's sturdy hold around his neck. The man quickly ceased his struggle and fell limp at Oliver's feet, unconscious. Oliver quickly moved by the door and checked to ensure he hadn't been spotted yet. The hallways were clear at the moment. Oliver moved to exit the room but stopped at Felicity's order.

"Wait." She demanded over the comm. A single police officer walked past the hall and continued on his patrol as Felicity watched from her monitor. Oliver heard the passing footsteps and moved once they disappeared. He quietly walked down the hallways and began placing traps in his wake, digging flashbang arrows into walls where he designated. The expanded quiver he had decided to wear for the operation was proving very useful. Oliver placed another few traps and barely managed to avoid a passing guard by hiding beside a nearby vending machine. Luckily the subdued officer hadn't been found yet and Oliver still had the element of surprise. He walked past the staircase where the SWAT team would approach from and placed an anchor arrow on the door. The arrow shot out multiple cables into the nearby walls and floor, ensuring that the door wouldn't be opened so easily. A quick pass of the elevator and Oliver placed a taser arrow at the door, low enough to stay out of sight. Unfortunately the risky path to the elevator had placed Oliver near the center of the floor and had gotten him spotted. The officer alerted the others to the Green Arrow's presence and opened fire. Oliver dove over the nearby desk and evaded the gunfire, moving out of sight as a group of officers arrived to assist their comrade. The men quickly rushed where the masked man had hid near and found it vacant. Oliver charged the men from behind, striking the first man and grappling the second to the ground where he landed and fired an arrow into the final man's leg. The two officers immediately turned their attention on Oliver, each readying their weapons. A sidearm aimed down at Oliver, prompting him to kick it aside and follow up with a powerful kick to the officer's leg. The man crashed to the ground in pain as the second officer raised his weapon only to have his arm snatched by Oliver. The man was flung forward over Oliver and into the wall, knocking him out of the fight. Another group of officers charged in, each avoiding gunfire with other police officers so close to the threat. The two men rushed the vigilante and attempted to overpower him. Oliver was tackled to the ground by the two men, separating him from his bow. The officers were quick to reach for handcuffs as they desperately attempted to end the fight by subduing the hooded man. Oliver easily broke free of the men's grasp and struck them with a flurry of punches while he grabbed their handcuffs and tethered both men to each other. The officers paused for a minute as they examined the handcuffs connecting them to one another at the wrist while Oliver kicked one of the men into the nearby laundry chute. The officer collapsed into the small aluminum tunnel and dangled in the air as the man tethered to him slammed against the wall with his arm buried in the chute. The officer desperately fought to keep from following the other man into the tunnel as he was pressed against the wall from the other man's weight. Oliver grabbed his bow as he moved off.
