Chapter 19

*Monday*

Conor's POV

Alicia and I were working on our song before class. "Hey can you listen to this beat, I want to make sure if it's right for the song?" I asked Alicia.

"Sure," she replied. I handed her my laptop and she put in her earbuds. "Hey this is good," she told me.

"Thanks," I said. She handed me back my laptop and we worked on the lyrics. We were almost finished with the song before Mrs.Anderson had to say something.

"Ok class if your auditioning for the musical, it's today after school in the auditorium, ok carry in with your work," she told us. We worked on the song more until we were finished.

"Ok we were done," Alicia high-fived me.

"Yep we just need to rehearse it and we are ready for preform on Wednesday,"I told her.

*After School*

Alicia and I were walking to the auditorium for the auditions.

Alicia's POV

Conor and I got to the auditorium and saw there was a of of people. I looked around at the amount of people until I saw her. Yep I saw Kate, her makeup makes me want to throw up. She came up to me, "What are you doing?" she asked.

"Um I'm gonna audition," I replied.

"Audition as who?"

"As Lauren."

"Well I'm gonna audition as Nicola, isn't she the one that (A/N Spoiler Alert) dates Charlie in the end right?" she asked.

"Yeah," I lied. I walked away from her and headed towards where Conor is. I saw him talking to someone. "Hey babe."

"Oh hey babe, this is Robert," Conor told me.

"Hi nice to meet you Alicia," Robert shook my hand.

"Nice to meet you too. Who are you auditioning as?" I asked.

"I'm auditioning as Lola," Robert replied.

"You look like you can play Lola," I said.

"Aw thanks Alicia," Robert told me. All three of us continued to talk until it was time to audition.

"Oh by the way Kate is auditioning as Nicola," I told Conor. All three of us started to laugh.

"Oh shot I have to be 'with' her," Conor said.

"Well you only have half of the musical to be with her," Robert told him.

A few people went before me. "Alicia Bell," someone called for me. I got out of my seat next to Conor. I went up stage and took a breath.

"Hi I'm Alicia Bell," I greeted them.

"Who are you auditioning as?" one of the teachers asked.

"I'm auditioning as Lauren," I replied.

"Which song are you singing?" Mrs. Anderson.

"I'm going to sing The History of Wrong Guys," I answered.

"Ok go sing," Mrs. Anderson told me. I started to sing my heart out and paid no attention to no one. I finished singing and everyone applauded. I thanked them and headed back to my seat.

"Good job Alicia," Robert complimented me.

"Thanks," I replied. We continued to whisper until it was Robert's turn. As he sang, which he slays at, he could totally be Lola. Robert came down the stage and came back to his seat. "Nice job Robert," I high-fived him.
