Chapter 40

*Next Day* 

Alicia's POV 

I woke up next to a sleeping Conor. I looked over to my phone and saw that it was 6 AM. The both of us need to meet up with them in a hour so we can get ready by 11 and be at the venue at 22. "Conor wake up," I shook him. 

"What?" he asked in his morning voice. 

"We need to get ready, come on," I replied. I went into my suitcase and grabbed some sweats since I want to be comfortable. I brushed my teeth and change into my clothes. Before putting on my shirt I can see a bump now. "Hey Conor come here," I called him. 

"Okay," he headed in the bathroom. He saw me and looked down to my bump. "You finally have a bump." I nodded. He kissed me on the cheek. 

"Okay, we need to go now," I told him. We got our things and headed our separate ways. I headed to Karsen's room and knocked on the door. The door opened and saw her Mom, Amanda. "Hey Mandy," I hugged her.

"Hey Alicia, your robe is over there," she pointed. 

"Okay, thanks," I headed over where she pointed and saw Karsen in her robe. "Hey Mrs. Soon-To-Be Higginson," I hugged her. 

"Hey  Alicia," she hugged back. 

"Excited?" I asked. 

"Yeah," she nodded. The rest of the bridesmaids came and the photographer. Then the hairdresser came in. I put on my robe and started getting my hair done. Music was playing and we were having a fun time. The hairdresser was done doing my hair and I looked in the mirror. She did an amazing job. He headed to the next bridesmaid and I did my makeup. I just put on some eyeshadow, blush, eyeliner and some lipstick. After that all of the bridesmaids put on their dresses. We came out and saw Karsen putting on her makeup. "You guys look amazing." 

"You too," Isabelle told her. 

"Who's ready to have a drink?" Jema asked. "Don't worry Alicia, I got apple cider for you." 

"Thanks," I thanked her. 

"So ladies? One before the wedding?" she looked at us. All of us nodded. Karsen opened the champagne and I opened my bottle of cider.  

"Cheers guys," I lifted my cup. "To Karsen." 

"To Karsen," the rest of us repeated. We drank and it was time to Karsen into her dress. Isabelle and I headed to the other room so she can put on her dress. She put on her dress and the both of us button the back of her dress. She put on the veil and turned to us. 

"So guys?" she asked. 

"Josh's jaw is going to drop when he see's you," Isabelle told her. I nodded in agreement. I opened the door and we came out. Everyone stared in awed. 

"We need to leave now, so let's go," her mom told us. We nodded and we headed to the limo. We climbed in and drove there. We got to the venue and it was pretty. Outdoors and stuff. I saw Conor, so I went to him and covered his eyes. 

"Guess who?" I asked. 

"Oh Santa?" he chuckled. 

"Wow," I uncovered his eyes. He turned around and saw me. 

"You look amazing babe," he kissed me on the cheek. 

"Thanks," I blushed. We continued to talk until it was time. 

*After The Ceremony* 

Right now all of us are at the reception waiting for Karsen and Josh to come in. "Give it up for Mr. and Mrs. Higgingson," her dad annouced. All of us cheered and they came in. All of us sat down and ate. We ate and danced until it was time for the first dance. Always played and it was sweet. Other people started to come on the floor and danced. Conor took out his hand. 

"Want to?" he asked. 

"Sure," I agreed. We headed to the dance floor and started to slow dance. "Love you," I pecked him on the lips. 

"Love you too," he pecked my on the lips. After a while we had cake and decided to go back to the hotel room.
