Chapter 7

We stopped at a small apartment complex, Leah and Jamie hopped out so I followed their lead. Since I haven't changed into my wolf I so long I felt the need to run. But as I looked around I saw there was no forest, there was really wasn't that much trees either.

"Okay so this our place" Leah said as we walked into the building. We were walking towards the elevator, and when inside Jamie hit the third floor.

"So Gaige how old are you?" Jamie asked.

"18."

"Hmmm... Jamie you picked up a young one. Well Gaige I'm 21 and Jamie is 19." Leah said.

I wasn't bothered the age differences to say the least. I was just glad some humans were nice. To be honest I was worried that maybe humans were viscous, but then again I've only met two humans.

I again was caught up in my thoughts that I didn't notice we were already on they third floor and heading towards a door. When we approached Leah took out a key and unlocked the door.

I stepped inside and looked around it was nice and cozy looking.

I turned toward Jamie.

" I will not stay long, I just need to find a place of work, and then I will be able to leave your household."

Jamie chuckled a little before saying, "oh don't worry about it, but you said you need a job? ask Leah she owns a clothing store and she always needs help."

I looked at Leah and was about to ask before she cut me off and said a few words that changed everything.

"You're hired."
