It was almost midnight, and I was laying on the couch hearing everything around me. Leah and Jamie had already gone to bed, so that just left me. I was currently thinking, thinking about nothing in particular but it was peaceful.

I haven't been at peace in awhile, but I wondered why I felt more at peace around humans, and not even around my own family.

I should feel more, I thought. but feeling hurts too much. I don't think I could take it.

I heard shuffling around the back of the house, then Jamie came out. I looked at her, actually seeing her for the first time. Her hair was a dark red, and it was pretty long, but when I saw her eyes I froze. Her eyes were green, just like my Sauna's. Ugh I can't think about her. I just can't .

"You can't sleep either?" she asked.

I just gave her a nod of my head. I don't know why but she reminds me too much of Sauna, even if they don't look alike. I better not get attached to her.

She sighed.

"You know, I get that you don't talk much but can you at least use words and reply in a full sentence?"

I could tell that she was frustrated, I could smell it on her. but I'm not used to talking to people.

"Okay."

She let out an annoyed noise, and rolled her eyes.

"We are not going to get along if you don't even try to talk to people" she said

"I don't know what you are going through but isolating yourself from people won't make anything better. Trust me I know."

With that she turned around and headed back into her room.
