"Ibiki, I wanna see him, un." Hitomi said one morning to her guardian.

"What?" Ibiki asked, but he knew exactly what Hitomi meant. After all she just found out that her father was dead, of course she'd ask this of him.

"I want to see my Dad.... Just for confirmation, it still doesn't feel real to me... and-and I want to say goodbye, un." Hitomi said, a sad look consuming her entire face.

Ibiki sighed, rubbing his eyes. He really wasn't supposed to allow this but it was her father, besides, he couldn't ignore the look of actual and genuine sadness on her face. These past few days had been emotionally rough on her when she usually had everything in check.

"Alright kid, we'll go after breakfast." He agreed.

Hitomi nodded and continued to pick at her rice omelette. For once in her life she didn't feel like eating her favorite dish, instead she felt sick to her stomach. Like she would throw up if she dared to take one bite. How ever she ate in anyways for Ibiki, knowing the old man would worry about her if she didn't.

After finishing her breakfast, Hitomi slid of the bar stool and walked back to her room. She grabbed a random fishnet top and a black shirt that was two sizes bigger than her. Then she just pulled on some random sweatpants she found laying on the floor of her closet. She felt to tired to even mess with her hair so she left it down for today.

When she walked out of her room, Ibiki was standing in the living room ready to leave. Hitomi nodded to him and they both exited the house, walking towards the direction of Konoha hospital. As they grew closer, Hitomi felt anxiety arise in her stomach. Out of comfort, Ibiki grabbed her hand and allowed the girl to lean on him for support.

When they entered the hospital, Hitomi felt as if her legs were turning to jelly as they shook below her. Ibiki pulled her up to the front desk and showed his ninja ID to the old lady at the front disk. "We're here to visit the morgue." Ibiki said tightly.

The woman looked from the scary T&I man to the small 11 year old girl gripping on to his arm for support. She smiled nervously wondering why a high ranking ninja would bring a little girl to the morgue, little did she know that Hitomi was probably far more dangerous and scarier than Ibiki. She, however, let them in anyways. "Okay, I'll buzz you in." She said and nodded towards the double doors that said 'Konoha City Morgue' in big black letters.

Ibiki nodded and walked with Hitomi towards the door. Just staring at the sign made Hitomi's heart race and crippling fear enter it. She couldn't help as they walked inside that her hold body froze up, stopping them halfway down the hall of the morgue building.

Ibiki stopped and looked at Hitomi as she stared wide eyed down the hallway. Everything was becoming really fast really quick and she wasn't sure if she could actually continue on down the hallway.

"Take your time." Ibiki suddenly said, making Hitomi snap her head to Ibiki. She stared up at him in surprise before nodding. After a few moments of prepping herself, she continued forward.

Both of the ninja's passed through the silver doors, where they were met with 10 bodies all under white clothes. Bleach and floor cleaner stung Hitomi's nose as Ibiki pulled her through the bodies to the very last on on the right. Hitomi let go of him as she stood beside the silver table. Ibiki sighed when he watched as Hitomi's shaking hands pulled back to see the face of her father.

The body was well preserved thankfully, Ibiki wasn't sure if he could handle watching Hitomi find the body of her decaying father under there. Though he wasn't surprised either, when they ambushed the Akatsuki they were living in one of the coldest parts of the land. The snow would have preserved them well.
