Your POV:

A soft groan escapes my lips as I push myself to sit up from the comfortable mattress beneath me. After I rub the sleep out of my eyes, I find myself scrunching my brows together in confusion. It really is odd when you awaken in a room you know is not your own, especially when you don't recall coming into it. It doesn't help that my vest is missing either.

"Son of a b****. Did I get kidnaped or- no, wait." I chuckle and shake my head at my stupidity. I had completely forgotten about last night. Ash had offered me a room after I said I was too exhausted to head home.

'I must still be in the palace, then.' My attention is brought to the door when a sudden loud knock sounds on the wooden object.

"Ms. L/N, are you still here?" Asks the familiar voice of Ash.

"Yeah, I'm still here. Just woke up, actually. You can come in."

The moment I give him permission to enter, the angel opens the door and steps inside. He greets me with a gentle smile and bows his head to me respectfully. I remove the blanket from my body, and my sock covered feet touch the floor. I immediately take note that my shoes are right beside the bed, near my feet. As I slip them on, Ash engages in a bit of conversation.

"Did you sleep well?" He asks while walking over to the closet. It's mostly empty when he opens it, but I spot my vest hanging there.

"I think so. I'm still kinda tired, but that might be because I just woke up." After I finish tying the laces on my left shoe, I bring a hand up to my mouth to block a yawn.

"Perhaps I can fetch you some breakfast before you leave?" He offers while bringing the vest over to me.

"No, that's all right. I should probably get going." After I finish tying my right shoe, I stand up from the mattress and take the cloth from Ash's gloved hands. I slip it on and button up the black buttons.

"Perhaps I can take you to the alley, then? It really isn't an issue," he offers. I don't know if he's just trying to be nice or what, but this behavior of his is very suspicious to me. I shrug my shoulders and turn around to grab Teddy off the mattress. I then face the white-haired angel with the teddy bear held loosely in my arms.

"I guess I don't mind, but won't the Queen need you here?"

"Not at all. I've already spoken with her majesty. Her schedule is rather full today. She will not be needing my assistance this morning."

"If you say so." I cover my mouth again when another yawn escapes me. Ash hums curiously when I rub my eyes.

'Why am I still so tired?'

The butler in white holds open the bedroom door for me, so I make my way out of the room.

"Might I suggest you get a bit more rest when you get home? You seem to be a little off this morning."

I shrug my shoulders at him in response.

"Eh, I'll be fine. I just stayed up too late last night, that's all."
