My gut fluttered with excitement as I stared, wide-eyed at my surroundings, wandering Machinery Hall at the Paris World Fair in search of a certain Earl and his devilish butler... as a cat. Oh, you heard correctly. Grey-haired and fluffy pawed with folded ears and even whiskers. I was a cat in a world full of towering humans that hadn't a clue a shapeshifting god walked right past their heels.

"Meow." The place was swarming with people, so crowded it made my search incredibly difficult. Why not use my regular body, you might ask? Well, let's just say I'd like to avoid a certain angel's attention as much as possible. I don't want to get recognized by Ash or even the Queen for that matter. It would spoil the plans I have made. Besides, what's better to attract Sebastian's attention than a cat? If I can't find him, he'll certainly find me.

As I explored, I kept track of time for this body in the back of my mind. Last thing I need is to revert back to human shape in front of all these people. I have about an hour to spend before that happens. Hopefully, it'll be enough to find Ciel. This place is a lot bigger than I imagined. A pained yowl fled from my mouth when some clueless jerk stepped hard on my tail, setting my fur on-end as I quickly turned with a threatening hiss.

"Stupid cat!" The Frenchman curled his lip in disgust, looking ready to throw a shoe at me as if I were some sort of pest.

'Well, excuse me, princess! I didn't see your tail get stepped on! Why don't you look where you're going?!' I let out another hiss, wishing I could cuss him out properly, as he narrowed his eyes. I stayed in his way just to spite him, causing him to grow more frustrated, much more than I thought he would. As he reached down to grab me, I bolted off, but the man gave chase, screaming curses in French as he shoved past everybody in his way. My eyes lit up when I caught sight of a familiar man in black accompanying Ciel in the distance. I don't think I've ever been this happy to see him in my life.
