If I was to die tomorrow, or any day,
I want all my wrongs to be made right.
At my funeral, no black,
everyone wears only white.
If I was to die soon,
I want everyone to see who I really am.
To see my thoughts, my actions, and my fears,
and to look beyond all those pointless tears.
I want those who love me to know I am fine,
to know that I never went before it was my time.
If I was to die tomorrow, or any day,
I want them to know how I truly felt my whole life.
How even though I wasn't always right,
I was always trying.
I want everyone to know
I didn't hate those who wronged me,
and I loved those who didn't even know me.
That even though I wasn't great at school
or being with people,
I always did my best to conquer mountains,
and climb steep hills.
If I was to die tomorrow, or any day,
it wouldn't matter to me if you didn't miss me,
because I would be at peace, I would be free.
I would be in a better place,
always happy, always ready to sieze the day.
If I was do die tomorrow, or any day,
I just want to go being me.
Not anyone else, and forever unique.
I will die one day, as will you,
and everyone else, too.
But keep in mind, I'm not afraid,
and I will still continue to try.
Because if I was to die tomorrow, or any day,
I don't want regret and sorrow flashing before my eyes.
If I died now, I ask no one to be sad.
I only ask that you move on,
and make yourself glad,
and cherish what you have.
Do not throw away this gift,
for there is only one chance.
Keep it safe,
because it will be gone
without a second glance.
