It's hard to do,
And it's hard to say.
I wish it didn't have to be this way.
At least, this time is different.
This time, you tell me you're leaving.
You don't just abandon me.
But how do I carry on?
What do I do when you're gone?
My only friend, please don't go.
Please, I beg you, don't tell me no.
Your place in my heart will forever have a hole.
To be friends forever, that was the goal.
Please don't tell me goodbye.
Please don't make me feel pain, make me cry.
I'll weep for days in your absence that awaits.
You're the only friend I've ever had in this place.
I understand.
You have to go.
I'll leave first, so it feels like I have control.
Don't forget me, like all the rest.
Out of everyone, to me, you were the best.
I'll miss you each day
