•••Stevie's POV:
"Stevie. Wake up."my dad said shaking me. I wake up an look at him.
"You have to go know. Marley. Take Stevie somewhere safe and stay there."my mom yells at us. She hugs me and kisses my head. Marley and I start running and I hear gun shots. I wake up in a panic. I look around my room. I'm shaking like a leaf.
"Stevie are you okay?"Marley asked me sitting on my bed. I nod my head.
"Y-yeah. I'm good."I said sitting up. He hugs and I hug him back. I pull out of the hug. He leaves my room. I look at my phone. Fuck. It's only 2:00 am. I can't sleep.
Stevie: hey Alex.
Alex: hey what's up.
Stevie: I didn't think you would be up.
Alex: I'm still at the party.
Stevie: hanging out with Jenna?
Alex: no she left like an hour ago.
Stevie: why are you still there?
Alex: it's a break from life I guess.
Stevie: oh. Do you want me to come get you?
Alex: no you don't have to.
Stevie: see in 10.
I get off my bed and put on my shoes and I walk to the door.
"Where are you going?"Marley asked me. I look at him.
"I'm going to go pick up a friend."I said grabbing the keys to my bike. I walk out of the house and I swing one leg over my bike. I speed off.
10 MINUTES LATER
I pull into the driveway and I pull out my phone and text Alex.
Stevie: I'm here. I'm outside.
Alex: okay. I'll be out in a second.
Stevie: okay.
I put my phone in my pocket. I look at the house and smile when I see Alex.
"Hey."she said with a smile. I smile back at her.
"Hey. Hop on."I said winking at her causing her to blush. She hops on and wraps her hand around my waist.
"What way to your place?"I ask her.
"It the 4th house on Letter Street."she said as I started up my bike. I speed off.
20 MINUTES LATER
We pull into her driveway and I shut my bike off and she gets off and I follow behind her.
"Thanks for the ride."she said looking at the floor.
"You're welcome."I said looking at her. She looked up at me an smiled. She hugged and I hugged her back. I pull out of the hug. I walk away but she pulls me back. I look at her and she kisses my cheek.
"See you later."she said going inside the house. I smile and walk away and get on my bike. I speed off.
•••Alex's POV:
I can't believe I just kissed her cheek. I walk inside my house.
"Where have you been."Bonnie asked me. I look at her.
"I was out."I said looking at her.
"At a party?"she asked me I just look at her.
"No."I said looking at the floor.
"I can smell beer and cigarettes on your breath."she yelled at me.
"You let Nick stay out as long as he wants to. But not me."I yell back at her. I look at her and sigh.
"I'm gonna look for my own place."I said going up to my room. I lay on my bed and fall asleep.
