QUESTION:
In an apply fic form, what is trivia? What am I supposed to put down for trivia?

ANSWER:
Let's define trivia first. According to Google, trivia is defined as "details, considerations, or pieces of information of little importance or value."

So, not exactly the most helpful thing in the world. However, hopefully it gets the idea across about apply fic trivia.

When you're filling out an apply fic form, you'll probably stumble across a section labeled "trivia." Somehow, this section is different from hobbies and habits and likes and dislikes and fears and whatever other little sections might be on there.

Trivia is for the miscellaneous stuff, the little random things about your character that don't fit in the likes or dislikes or hobbies or habits sections. When I put down trivia for my characters, it's some of the most random shit in the world because like... we all have little random quirks and tidbits, right? That's how I treat trivia in apply fics; it's those little things that are interesting or just out of the blue that somehow give a bit more personality and context and life to your character.

Here's some examples of actual trivia I've used on actual forms for actual apply fics:
- She has intense food cravings when she has her period and it's rumored that she blew through 80USD (92451.60 South Korean Won) in a week just on chocolate once when she was dealing with her period as a trainee.
- Joonho and Yujin have like twenty pet fish it's lit fam
- Wants to learn how to play the drums so she can "smash it" like Choi Minhwan from FTISLAND.
- Biases Chen and Lay of EXO. 10/10 would bang if she was attracted to them in that way.
- Fin had a pet rock when he was younger. The rock's name was Billy. Fin loved that rock very much.
- Somehow this kid has his license even though he shouldn't be allowed to drive a metal machine of death. (It's surprising that he hasn't gotten into a car crash yet.)
- She bursts into song randomly-but no matter what song or tune she starts off with, she always ends up humming the tune to the chorus of "The Bare Necessities" from the Jungle Book (and for the life of her, she can't figure out why she does this or how she even knows that tune in the first place).

So trivia is any random fact about your character that you want to put on your form. And as you can see from the examples, those facts can be very random. Hope this helps! -admin aj
