And Jakob didn't realize that that Thomas had control of the story now. The winds ripped by and Chris winced from the sting. Megan let out a frightened scream and held onto him for fear of being blown away, while Mr. Tuoko tried to shout over the surprise gust. The buildings seemed to shake as the sky darkened to an almost black state. As the group looked above their eyes widened at the sight above them. There, towering above the school, was a monstrous beast, rising into the sky with all its majestic glory. Its resemblance to a squirrel was lost to the group from the sheer fright of it all.
The beast opened its mouth, revealing rows of jagged teeth. It's voice boomed throughout the area, almost causing quakes in its wake. Over the baritone, one could faintly make out the barest hint of an English accent.
"Oi, did ya forget 'bout me?"
Diedrich had returned, his vengeance upon them....
A short story by my friend Thomas LaFever, who hacked into the book and wrote this section in. So I decided, what the hell? I might as well keep it in. And some of the characters mentioned in here are actually from the upcoming sequel, Black Crystal: The Essence.
