ARAMIS

I know right! Chapter 6? Mad tings! But yeah, this one will have more than the usual 5 chapters. Awesome right?! Anyway.

It was 2:47 in the morning on our third day on the five week trek through the forest. The Shades kept coming in steady waves, about an hour between each one. The thick and compact trees meant almost no sunlight touched the floor and when they did, it was only in small patches in among the long, overgrown grass. Wolf walked ahead, the darkness seeming to part for him. I figured out it's because of his past. There's no point of the darkness trying to scare someone who's dealt with more terrifying shit than it. Wolf made the darkness his bitch basically. Me, on the other hand, would rather have a cigarette than a back full of scars to be honest.
"Another wave is about to hit" Wolf said, shaking me from my line of thought. I clenched my fists and they set on black fire. The bushes rustled in front of us.
"Dark Fire Fist!" I shouted, punching forwards. A wave of black fire erupted from my fist towards the bushes.
"Imparticle Wave"
Without looking, Wolf pulled his hand out of his pocket and punched backwards, his Imparticle Wave collided with my Dark Fire Fist, the explosion blasted between us, disintegrating all nearby trees. My hoodie and hair was whipped about from the force. We need to stop destroying trees. It's not nice.
"Why?" I asked
"It's not a Shade" Wolf replied. Then he turned back to the bushes "Get out of the way! Now!" He shouted. Suddenly I wanted to get out the way out of whatever. But it wasn't for me. Suddenly a girl rolled out of the bushes
"Now" Wolf said. I used Dark Fire Fist again. This time Wolf let the attack fly past him, his trench coat whipping about from the attack. When the attack hit the bushes, I heard Shade screams.
"Good call" I said to Wolf. He smiled, then used Dark Repulse as I went to get the girl. How come we always find girls in some kind of trouble? Always. This girl was out cold.  Probably from smacking her head off a rock when she rolled. Maybe. This girl was tall with long, blonde, curly hair. She had sharp features. Meh. She was alright. My Hideaway was way better. The girl also had a huge scar running down her arm. Was she tortured or something? Suddenly her eyes snapped open. Her eyes were a stormy grey colour. Wolf walked over as he dealt with the last Shade. He looked at the girl. His eyebrow raised a bit, then he grimaced. Looking back at her, she had a lot of similarities to Whisper. Fuck. He helped the girl up.
"Hey" he said.
"Hey" the girl replied
"Why are you out here?" Wolf asked
"I was on recon for a mission"
"By yourself"
"No. But my team got killed by a Chaser ambush. We were careless."
"Code name?"
"Angel. Of the Info Sect of the Frighters, Hacker Division"
"You're a hacker?" Wolf asked. The Angel realised who he was. She stared
"And you're the Black Angel"
"What?"
"That's what the Frighters call you. Wolf, The Black Angel"
"Oh"
"I'm here also" I said. The girl turned, her eyes like dinner plates
"I'm-"
"Hell Dragon Aramis" she said hurriedly "I know. Hi. Hey. How are you...okay?" The rest of what she said made no sense.
"Yeah. Anyway" Wolf said "The forest is dangerous. You should return to the Ryder House"
"Surely she'd be safer with us" I said, Angels face red from blushing. Wolf gave me a death glance
"I agree" Angel said "I'll collect firewood to start a fire" then she ran off. I turned to Wolf smiling evilly. He walked towards me, then swung at me. I laughed and dodged. We started fighting, fists only.
"Do you reckon she's an Aramis fan?" I joked as I narrowly dodged a punch.
"She had to be a fucking Aramis fan" Wolf grumbled, kicking at me.
"Why? Do you want one?" I asked laughing. Wolf punched me in the face.
"I hate you" he said. Then we both laughed and started to set up the tent.
